1. I ended up getting a Bedard jersey (Home) and then a Vegas Golden Knights jersey (the grey one).

2. I would like to win an award, championship, or something in the E this season.

4. My player is a righty. I feel like all my players will be, but maybe I can have one be a lefty!

5. The Boys Are Back in Town by Thin Lizzy.

6. My favorite NHL skater is Tage Thompson (as you can tell by every sig I make for my player).

7. I am a diehard Sabres fan. I ended up choosing them because the first NHL game I ever watched was with Ryan Miller and he is one of my favorite players.

Tarasenko is a beast for me. I started playing NHL video games with him being on the cover. I might watch forever highlights with his laser shot and filthy hands.

1. I’m a point per game player thus far which last season I only had 16 points in 72 games. Much better performance.

2. Improving Defense and Puck Handling

3. I just find it very unique and enjoyable to be on the ice and following hockey as well. Its impressive watching pros play and seeing how easy they make things look.

4. I doubt it. He shouldn’t miss too much time maybe a month or so which he’ll still lead all rookies in scoring.

1: I'm happy with my performance so far in the E. I do wish I was scoring more, but being over a point-per-game is still good.

2: I will be focusing on my defensive game, as it's the most important in my eyes.

3: I enjoy the sport itself and spending time watching it with family and friends.

4: I think he will still win it. The others are a bit behind him still, so they have to catch up to him.

5: I put bacon on my pizza once, it was actually pretty good.

6: I would probably choose telekinesis or mind control, both seem cool.

One day Lamb - Trunov duo was pretty cool in Warsaw. And it seems we will face each other soon over here.

Well, it's tough to say I'm a sniper as this season is the only when I really succeed scoring goal. More than that, my playmaking skills haven't produced enough points and impact however I'd say right now i am truly a sniper

 

 

5: Do you have any specific moment that made you fall in love with the sport of hockey? If so, what was it?

Wow it's tough to say to be honest. I remember my first practice on the ice and I realised that it appeals to me. The whole process of training was fascinating even tho I was just learning how to skate holding on to a chair

 

 

6: Who is the funniest person ever?

My dad, this man goes hard sometimes

 

 

 

7: Do you think remakes (television shows / Movies) are a good concept or should the originals be left untouched?

It depends. The Witcher is obviously bad, so according to this example, I would definitely be down for a remake with new actors cast. Nevertheless, there won't be any thing better than the original book story. So was there a point to touch that thing ?

2. I just like the cold a lot more than the heat. You can always put on more layers but you can't always take more off.
3. I have 2 dogs, Otis (after the cow from The Barnyard) and Irwin (after Steve Irwin).

4. Definitely more of a two-way forward or playmaker.
5. I'm a Bruins fan so the cup win in 2011 was amazing but my favorite game was in 2013 game 7 against Toronto when we came back from 4-1 with 11 minutes left.
7. I don't mind remakes as long as they make an effort to do something different. It's cool to see different outcomes to familiar stories.

2: Hockey weather! There is a pond near me that freezes over and a bunch of my friends go skating on it.

3: Well, I am aiming for 40 goals in the E, but my player has slowed down recently.

5: I think Celibrini is a good player that is getting overlooked due to not having the "franchise" tag to him like Bedard did.

Depends on the market, could trade away some older players to stock the cupboard for the future or bring in some more young guys to help over the next few seasons

Looks like I'm starting to slow down playing on the second line/second PP so if I can get to 25 somehow that would be nice.

Not really, I used to a bit when I was younger but dont really have the time/want to these days

I would give it to Quinn Hughes but lots of people performing well on the canucks right now

Honestly, that's a pretty good question. You'd have to stick out and appeal to the youngin's, because almost nobody would change to a new brand mid-career. Maybe something like the Howler. I don't know, I just use them, I ain't no marketing expert! 

2: Would you consider the Phoenix to be buyers or sellers at this season's deadline?

The trade deadline has already passed, but I assume the team was passive sellers. The structure seems pretty solid here in Chicago, and the team is just waiting for their players to develop and prospects to grow. They'd be dumb not to listen to offers, but I would assume no big moves were made. 

3: How many goals will your player score this season?

Great question. Karol's offense hasn't been the greatest over in Bratislava, but I'm hoping to pot a few more before the year is over and maybe I can squeak into double digits. I'm fine with 6 as long as we keep winning, though.

5: Are you keeping track of prospects for the NHL draft? If so, who looks good to you?

Yeah, I've actually been quite invested in Canadian youth hockey and University hockey recently, so I have been quite interested in the past few drafts. Russians Ivan Demidov and Anton Silayev are both superstars in the making but really haven't been given the media hype despite being ranked very high. My steal of the draft is going to be my local team's best player, Kevin He - who certainly isn't getting any media love but is budding pro talent. 

6: Who is the MVP of your favorite hockey team right now?

The easy answer would be David Pastrnak, but since it popped into my head first, I'll answer it with 2 other players, in the form of a GIF:

7: What's your favorite album of all time?

There's probably about 20 albums I could name here if you ask me 20 different times, but since I just recently listened to it front to back I'll go with Virtue by The Voidz. Saw them in concert last November and it was UNREAL.

I would say we placed about where we were expected to place. Definitely hope we can get be better next season with some good development

2. This is the only sim league im part of. I’ve looked at a others in the past but just wanted to stick with the VHL

3. I would say Darth Vader. He’s a very menacing villain

4. I’m currently reading through the thrawn trilogy. I finished the second book Thrawn: Alliances and now am on Thrawn: Treason

5. With the way this season is going I don’t think he will anymore. Unless he turns it around next season or the caps trade him

6. I’ve always thought Samurai were very interesting. (which makes sense liking Star Wars)

7. I don’t see any issue with it but in the heat of the moment I can understand players will get their egos hurt and retaliate

1. I think we basically did how we were expected to do. I want to make playoffs next season.

2. The only other sim league I'm in is GOHLS.

5. I think it's inevitable that he's going to do it, but I don't know why.

6. I would say Samurai, they're pretty cool and even when other armies were using muskets, they would still have swords.

7. It was pretty funny I'm not going to lie, especially since it is against the Leafs.

8. I don't mind the chiefs, but I hate the whole Mahomes and Taylor Swift stuff.

1: It's almost the end of the regular season. How do you think Chicago did and do you believe we can get better next season?

Chicago missed out on the playoffs I see, but was to be expected due to the lack of Scotty Sundin and the rebuilding nature of the team. I don't think anyone was too surprised or disappointed, the team was still in the mix until the very end. I think next season is when the expectation starts being set that this core needs to take the next step. And I'm sure optimistic we will.

2: Do you play in any other sim leagues?

I have tried SBA, EFL, SHL, and SSL, but never lasted long in any of them. Not even sure I had a player really make an impact in the big leagues in any of them. If we're counting EHM as a GM though, I am in 2 leagues, and have been in probably 15+ total over the last 5-6 years.  

4: What was the last book you read?

The last book I completed was Crossroads by Kaleb Dahlgren, one of the surviving members of the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash. A pretty solid read. The last book I picked up, however, is Walkable City by Jeff Speck - as a Geo major and aspiring urban planner, really into this kind of stuff right now.

Absolutely, without a doubt. I'm not sure why people are recently saying he won't, or he'll retire, because who the hell in their right mind would stop 50 goals or less to that target? Even if he's scoring less than 10 goals a season, he's playing until he gets it. 

7: What do you think about Ridley Grieg's empty net goal?

Absolutely loved it. I hate the Senators and the Leafs, but it was an absolute rockstar move in a passionate win. The Sens get their Stanley Cup and the leaf faithful cry, so it's a win-win for me as a Bruins fan. I will also say that people love to say "hockey players show no personality/emotion/etc." and then rip one for doing something like this. Choose one.

8: The Chiefs won the Superbowl! What's your opinion of this Dynasty?

Obviously I was cheering for them in the beginning, but now it's just too damn much. Mahomes has quickly become the enemy of the entire league, and is seriously entering GOAT conversations at just the age of 28. I'm also pissed they beat my Eagles last season. It's obviously a dynasty, but I'm afraid it is FAR from over.
