  1. It's amazing that this game was even close at all. Halifax played very well in 5v5, however, they shot themselves in the foot with the amount of penalties they took. Spending over 18 minutes in the box, it would have been almost impossible for them to win this. However, hats off to their penalty kill, only letting in one goal on 9 attempts.

    2. Do you think I trust some trainer to know what he is doing? Have you seen the guy? He is like some sort of half man half tiger thing, what the f*** would he know about my feet. So I go out and buy the most expensive pair of skates I can find. The higher the price, the better they are right?

    5. So many people didn't want to sell to me. They kept saying that I was crazy or something. Yo blade, can you do something about this?

    7. I like to have fun by working on my windmill saves, talking with teammates, and annoying opponents.

    8. Neither. I walk up to the DJ and make him put on a different song.

    9. C̶o̶c̶a̶i̶n̶, I mean uh … flour. Definitely just flour. Perfectly ordinary non suspicious flour

    12. Working for Armando. Not going to say much, but lets just say he provides my flour.

  3. Honestly, I think discord and the forum both have their uses. Discord is perfect for having conversation, as it allows for them to be held over a few minutes instead of a few hours. It is a perfect way to interact with your team, and increase activity. However, for more important discussions like this, the forum is perfect. It allows everyone to have their say in what they think is best, and for people to argue their opinions more effectively.

Might as well just consider this a warning. I don't see a use in making a big fuss over a 2 TPE thing.

Although if low effort is showed consistently, then obviously that's a problem, but that has never been a problem with you.

Don't worry, I will make sure to do better. Thanks!

  5. Training with Flashback: Brick Whal edition pt1

This is the beginning of a series that I am going to be making for the foreseeable future. It is about VHL goalies trying to teach Fang Flashback to be less of an a**hole, and a better goalie.

Blademaiden sits in her office, looking over scouting reports and analyzing trade offers, when all of a sudden a massive 6’7 man steps in to greet her.

“Oh Hey Brick! Thanks for coming so quickly!” she tells him excitedly.

“No problem Blade. Now why was it you wanted me here? Something about a new goalie you wanted me to teach? Don’t tell me your coach has forgotten how.” Whal responds.

“Well, sort of. This goalie, he… he is a special case. I called you because you might be able to help.”

Whal’s eyebrows raise as his curiosity grows. Wondering what could be so unusual about a goalie to necessitate all this.

He says “Well, I am sure it is nothing. He is a goalie, we are supposed to be weird.”

She lowers her tone, “Brick, it’s not like that. This one is … well, it's probably best for you to see for yourself.”

She leads him down to the ice rink. They exchange small talk, with Whal completely oblivious to what he just got himself into. Then, all of a sudden, they see a goalie on the ice, stopping pucks with his face.

Brick whal gasps in horror “Please tell me that isn’t…”

    “It is”

Part 2 will be posted next week

Requirement is at least a little bit of effort. This just doesn't look like you tried at all, and I've seen your work before. I get it's only 2 TPE, but this player card doesn't really look like a player card either.

Yeah, just something I made as a joke in our discord. If you want me to make a real one, I will be fine with that.

Making 90s and 99s hard to reach will increase player build diversity. Everyone forward will likely end up having 99 scoring, 99 defense and 99 skating at least when they peak. If you can get 2 99s max because of re-scaling of TPA, more players will invest in different attributes. If you want to be a pure playmaker, that can be done. Obviously it can be done now, but why be a pure playmaker when you have 99 in passing and also 99 in scoring and defense? If it was hard to get 99's, having different player types will add more to GMing when it comes to making lines, and will diversify the league. This is a good thing. I think 40-70 and 70-80 ranges are ok. Maybe do 80-85 is 5, 86-90 is 10, 90-95 is 15, 96-99 is 20?

This makes perfect sense. As I have been saying, the amount of TPA people have is way too much. If you make it harder to reach the elite attributes, you will see much more diversity. It will also make line combinations more important

That’s kinda the bigger issue for me. Depreciation was never designed to be 100% fought. It’s supposed to hit people, that’s the point of it. It’s our way of artificially aging players so the younger guys can come in and replace them. With the inflation this high I feel like that is too easy to dodge but maybe I’m just more of a whore than I thought?

This is a big problem. Because of the success of the recruitment team, space is at a premium. Especially as a goalie, I will probably have to spend several seasons as a backup. This is a problem, because a lot of first gens can barely even find a spot on teams. This is something we need to fix by either expansion or switching to a three line system
