Was more making fun of it and I only had more TPE towards the end =P. The draft is a wildcard and based on positional needs. 

Halfiax’s playoff hopes came to a close during the second round, getting swept by the Ottawa Lynx in 4 games. “This was unfortunate, but they were a good team and pulled it off during the OT periods. They had more depth and were able to keep their energy up through the entire series. It could have easily gone either way.” said Burn. This series concluded with 3 games in OT, one of which went into double overtime. This shows that even though it was a sweep these two teams were pretty close. Acyd Burn had a hot start in the playoffs with 5 goals and 2 assists in the first 3 games and then held off the sheet in the fourth. In the second series had 3 goals and 1 assist in the first two games before moving to the first line to alleviate some pressure on Halifax’s top line. In the end the 21st couldn’t secure a win and move on to the off season, what’s next for Acyd Burn is declaring for the VHL draft.

With the New York Americans being eliminated from the playoffs we figured it was time to announce the league’s 2nd worst kept secret, behind only the Malmo expansion. Obviously @Spade18’s activity this season was less than ideal and while we hope he will one day return to full activity levels within the league he decided, and the league agreed, that it was best to give the team to someone else that can do the historic franchise justice.
 
So, with that said, it is the @Commissioner team's great pleasure to announce that @Esso2264 is the new General Manager of the New York Americans! Obviously this does mean he will be stepping down from his role as GM of the Ottawa Lynx and the @VHLM Commissioner team will be announcing a new GM for that franchise soon. For now we thank Spade for his GM tenure and wish Esso all the best.

Anything that’s sitting for awhile would be under review for one reason or another, it’s certainly not the norm. If everything is normal i don’t think I’ve ever seen our queue sit for more than 3 days.

Are the Halifax 21st overachievers this season? On they last game of the season they passed the Ottawa Lynx in a 5-3 win, to take the 2nd seed for the playoffs. Many believe that the Halifax haven’t been consistent/good enough to win all season. VSN has consistently ranked Halifax at the bottom of their power rankings every article. They also stopped posting power rankings once Halifax started moving up the rankings, coincidence? probably. Ever since the satanic ritual there hasn’t been much faith in Halifax and they’ve been the butt of every joke. Do we think that Ottawa tanked, No. There lines have been about the same all season. The only team that seems to be tanking is Mexico City (of course Nyko is tanking), there must be something in the water. All I know is that we’ve worked hard to get to where we are, we may have overachieved and gotten lucky on a couple of games, but we are where we are. To all the haters… we’ll see you in the playoffs.

Michael Johnson's thoughts on his first season in the VHLM:
 
For my first year, I definitely was terrible at the VHLM level but my WJC was insane. I ended this season with 25 wins, .874% and 3.02 GAA. Granted I had 3 shutouts which was way more than I expected. I’ve got to be better in the playoffs, at this point I wouldn’t even be expecting to start but I hope I’m given the opportunity. I need to ball out this post season and make an impression on this draft.
 
For positives, I got to say that I went from just a young kid into a man this season. We split starts but I’m so confident in my abilities, its incredible. Yeah, I played badly but I believe in myself enough to rebound nicely in the post season. Our first series is against the Marlins and they’re definitely a fantastic team so if I get the start, I’ll have to be on my game. Lets go the 21st.

Our retention rate immediately has been much better but we’ve noticed lately that activity is dropping off post-draft so around the 1-2 month range. That heavily skews data for stuff like this because it means huge draft numbers but it doesn’t matter if 75/100 people are inactive before the end of their rookie season.
 
Right now the ratio is definitely higher of people joining than people retiring but that’s to be expected. This season is retirement for the S59 players and we didn’t get these major sized draft classes until at least S63 or S64. The ratio will naturally even out a bit once we hit those draft classes retiring.

I think we need to be proactive and not reactive when it comes to expansion. As @Renomitsu explained we don't have room with the prospect coming up this next season from last season's draft let alone the season's. Who cares if we expand x2 and the rosters are a little shallow for a season? Me and the recruitment crew can fill the league up every season easy. Half way through the season I have to stop Recruitment anyways.... I think if you want the league to be bigger and better we need to prepare in advance instead of waiting till there's a problem.

     Any VHL team that I go to will have the best logo.

     I like to losen up my team mates by playing the good ol "Pull my finger" joke on them.

     I like to eat a big ribeye steak after every game.

     I watched our goalie pull his  own finger and laugh when he farted. Amazing.
