@Triller I understand what you’re saying but at the same time if we were GMing Houston still and had some first gen beauties working hard and earning every week, we wouldn’t play our welfare clickers over them!
Grunkle Stan was a welfare goat for us for 4 seasons, capped out for S89, and I still sat his ass on the third line this past season for some play because it’s just not fair to discredit the hard work that our other players put in. The highest he got was 2nd line with 2nd line special units, he was capped he still deserves good playing time, but not the best with the team we had. I’m starting a 100 TPE max earner on the first line over a 200 TPE welfare earner any day of the week. It grows our league to “push away” the people who only log in for 5 minutes a week and probably don’t even check the games everyday, and let the players who take the time to improve their player play the most ice time.
Like ruutu said the TPE differences in the VHLM and VHLE are so small. A welfare earner shouldn’t just have priority of first line in these leagues based on total TPE, it doesn’t make sense to do that as a GM. The players who want to work deserve it and should deserve it every single game.
This is also no discredit to welfare earners. If you show up every week to click buttons that’s totally fine and there’s nothing wrong with how you want to earn your TPE. But it’s needed to know that if someone is giving 100% while you’re only giving 10%, you shouldn’t even question your role on the team. If you want first line minutes you put the work in for first line minutes.
