It’s “hodge podge” you lunatic. The pronoun thing is indeed tricky. I feel bad when I misgender folks, and I have slowly been getting used to going with “they” until proven otherwise. I for one am happy to be sharply corrected when I err, but I get that one shouldn’t need to correct 100 different people. Ultimately, I think if it means enough to someone, they can take it upon themselves to make their pronouns a little more visible, or start a whisper campaign or something.

What I liked about your conversation with yourself is that it felt like your exaggerated Canadian half and your exaggerated Australian half were fighting to come out. The Gladiators were in fact an old VHLM team from Minot. @Victor is indeed an old lazy fuck. I like the new old teams, the brands were solid and it was both easy and neat to bring some of them back. Some wild locations would be fun though. Fun fact: I literally just drove through the town of Cochin, SK, which contains a lighthouse. On a hill, in the prairies, just by a lake I guess. Relocate Bratislava there! The VHLE is certainly imperfect, but it is and was addressing a critical roster issue in the VHL. We’ll just have to make sure we stay on top of issues and consequences that crop up from adding a third league. All in all, great podcast, glad I finally got a chance to listen, though it makes me want to drink at points when I’m not able to so fuck.

I swear excessively and podcast and drive irresponsibly, so I think you’ll be okay. Also I was going to listen to the rest of the podcast but you’ve hurt my feelings now so fuck you I guess. At its best the BOG can be as you described, but it can indeed be a scramble, which makes it tough to sort through. Stacking problems!

Sadly but thankfully, there were no dick pics in play with the suspension irl. But that is now my head canon for the sim universe! Also, the mods do in fact have files on all members that are punished, with details on the infraction and all sorts of other stuff. In the case of Tate’s suspension, the incident was almost entirely in public on the Discord for what’s its worth. I think the mods are doing a very good job overall. I love these podcasts so much, never stop.

A+ introduction! Bravo! Welcome to the correct opinion that unstructured podcasts are the best content and the best way to earn points! The best way to get into the HOF is to create the exact players you’ve been making but 30+ seasons ago. Mod squad is a tough job, as are the other higher responsibility tasks. I’m glad to be past all that honestly! Frankly I do think you should get some TPE for all your CoC work, whether that’s capped or uncapped. At the very least you should be able to post the 3000 words as a PT and claim it for four weeks! It definitely is a stressful position to have to play bad cop in what is essentially a league full of friends. As someone who is very much the person who tows the line of bullying/trolling for the lulz, I apologize! You don’t have to feel bad should you ever need to drop the ban hammer on me, know that I’ll enjoy and respect you all the same! Its an uphill battle sometimes, but you guys are doing an amazing job, and we appreciate it.

I don't know too much about the fallout or the details of all the legal proceedings, but I have read the executive summary and all the worst details from the report of the 3rd Party Investigators looked into the situation (PDF linked HERE for those interested to read it. Goes without saying that it contains some very disturbing details, so trigger warning and all that). It's not exactly a hot take to say that it's pretty fucked up how the Blackhawks handled the situation. Their actions basically assured that Aldrich would prey on another victim down the road. They had the power to torch his career and blow the whole thing open right then, but instead he got to keep working with young people that he could take advantage of. It's a tough thing to be in the center of, but good on Beach for saying something as it will inevitably save, indirectly, many others from his trauma down the road.
