Yeah Spurs and Arsenal are definitely in opposition, both in North London. Chelsea doesn't particularly like either one, although it's a different part of London (Chelsea are West London, locally Chelsea's rival would be Fulham, but Fulham kind of doesn't count - also, historically Chelsea were rivals with Leeds but Leeds counts even less than Fulham). City and United obviously don't care for each other (both Manchester), nor do Liverpool and Everton (both Merseyside). Many supporters of the top clubs would prefer the historically less successful side of other rivalries (i.e. Pool supporters might prefer Spurs to Arsenal, just because Arsenal would be seen as a bigger threat most of the time) although of course it would be best if neither had success as it would make the supported side's chances all the greater. Supporters of any of the six clubs with major rivalries would love it if Fulham knocked off Chelsea, of course, and Everton has had a lot of mid-table years so most of the time they'd be preferred over Pool by most of the big clubs.

This is, after all, a WRITING contest, so of course we must include non-writing components, because everyone likes it better that way.

Sometimes it's not about what is graphically "better" as much as what people like. I, for one, like the text that you don't like. I know nothing about graphics, so it might be "bad" by the criteria of the graphics world, but I like the look of it. There is no right or wrong with these things.

There was a member named Nagger, he was the type of guy who was here more for the off topic than for a player really, but for one season he was GM of Oslo in the VHLM. He changed the name to the Oslo Naggerwolves, the little wolf picture in the corner of the card was his avatar as well as his team logo, and it became kind of a thing around the forums. He also insisted that one naggerwolf was a "naggerwolve" even though that makes no sense grammatically. He had 3-4 different players over his time, the only one I remember off the top of my head is Cameron Davidson, who had I think in the neighborhood of 150 or so TPE over several seasons.

This Nemecek should do well in the draft, if you keep up with these. Big guy with skills, you can never have too many of those.

Other names I've gone as in other leagues: KAYANO (for the running shoe Asics Gel-Kayano) RunnerOfSteel (People who have completed the Pittsburgh marathon, half-marathon, or relay are given this as a term of endearment. The username is basically a humblebrag since I did the half last May.) Some variations of my usernames include 121. This is derived from my old Pitt email jmg121, which I think just meant that I was the 121st person to have the initials jmg since they implemented that email system. I've carried the numbers over to other things, when I've needed numbers.
