It's interesting that the portal correctly shows Oskar Ingolfsson, who would be retired if the member behind him (Meg) had still been around for the full 8 seasons rather than going inactive, but you missed both of Vilhjalmsson's brothers, Jonas and Jakub (who would definitely still be under 8 seasons) because no one ever bothered to fix them after the portal made everyone Canadian. They're also Icelandic. @Shaka @Týr and @MWHazard created at the same time and made triplets, but MWHazard was the only one to earn enough to make it into the bigs.

Ottawa has a backup spot available. Can't offer you a ton of games since it's near the end of the season but can get you in some here and there. Sask also does according to the thread of the other new goalie. Not sure about Yukon - Vegas, Hali, and Oslo all don't have anything it appears.

Given how many goalies have joined, if a GM got to this point in the season with an open starter spot, they're not doing their job properly. However, I also have a backup spot much like you do, and could offer that, although similarly I wouldn't have a ton of starts on offer.

Hey so I hear you've talked to @Esso2264, anyway I'm Ottawa GM, I can offer you a 3rd line spot now that I've cleared one out. Let me know if you want to join us. We're 3rd right now, only a point back of Hali and have won the last 5 in a row so I think we'll end up 2nd by the end of the season, which should give you a decent playoff run and a shot at winning it. Let me know one way or the other

Hi @matthewtols Ottawa GM here. I can send you an offer to join my team if you'd like, you'd get our 3rd line center spot. We're a contending team, so you'd have a decent playoff run (it's nearing the end of the season so you wouldn't have a ton of the regular season before getting into the playoffs). The other teams will be in here to make you offers as well, although since it's getting later in the day, you may have just missed a few guys. Once some teams have offered, you can decide what team you'd like to join.

This will clear a 3rd line space for me to sign a new guy since understandably no one wants the 4th. @Luke Allman no hard feelings bud, but you're a 2 season guy and Yukon should be particularly good next season with all the picks they have, so this sets you up to do well with them for next season when you'll be a little farther along in development. @Banackock

I'd be glad to bring you to Ottawa for the playoffs. I already have 4 active D (Bushito, Trifecta, Flyersfan, and Gooning) so I'd have to do some creative lines-ing, but I'd figure something out, prob 40-20-20-20 and double up the guys on the 20s so everyone's on 40% (1-2, 3-4, 5-3, 4-5).

If you want Ottawa, let me know ahead of the deadline. I'll have to trade a guy to acquire you, it wouldn't be fair to bump one of my actives to the 4th

I'm GM of Ottawa Lynx. I can give you a 2nd pair spot on my team. We're currently in 3rd, which puts us among the contenders this year. Not going to be as much playing time as someone like @Peace and Sask can give, of course; which is where it depends on whether you'd rather the time or the contending
