After 8 months, I have finally listened to this podcast. Thank you for all of the kind words, about all the people on the team especially. It really was a fantastic group of people, and they have been for every finals team since we first got there 4 seasons ago. You hit on really all the points on everyone on the roster, why they were such good fits for the team both as a player and a user. 

 

I also was in shock in how I was able to get Victor onto the roster that season. Fortunately Bek was willing to stay as a backup for another season, but the cap gymnastics that went into it was mildly mindboggling and it just worked out somehow. We traded away Bob Tristan, Jaromir Lemeiux and Andrew Bowman to get the cap low enough where we could bring in two players on 1.5M deals to complete the roster. I have no clue how it worked out but it did.
