How to get known in the VHL

We are a few days before S75, most people still don't know your name and you wanna be famous. Here is a few ways to get the spotlight in a good and not so good way.

 

1. Take a break in the middle of a game to buy a hot-dog

The advantage of being a VHL player is that even if the hot-dogs in the arenas are expensive as f**k, you're rich! Why not taking advantage of it?

 

2.  Get drunk before a game

It is fun to play hockey but its even more fun when there is 2 pucks on your stick

 

3. Invest in criminal organizations

Your 2 millions dollars contract is not enough? There is plenty of ways to make more and the best part of it is that once you get caught, you get on the front page of the newspaper, Isn't that so nice?

 

4. Become a pyromaniac

If you burn the arena after a overtime loss, you can be sure that everyone will hear of you.

 

5. Drop the cup

You are the backup goalie of the team that won the cup, you didn't play a single playoff game but you want people to remember you. Drop the cup and everybody will remember you.

 

6. Insult your fans

This will make yourself known untill you have no longer fans.

 

7. Create an Onlyfans

We are in 2020, its the new trend.

 

8. Pick your nose at the face-off.

Its even better if you wipe it on your pants

 

9. Start a fast-food diet

Every players in the VHL are fit, you won't get yourself known for being fit, so why not become fat? Might even be a good strategy for a goalie.

 

10. Sleep on the bench

An hockey game can be pretty long, just sleep untill the game its your shift, you might get your place on the bloopers by the end of the season.

Everyone knows who Brad Marchand is, and they'll know you too for this gross invasion of personal space.

12. Start a conspiracy theory about your opponents

It may not be believable, but hey, Halifax has the permanent reputation of a cult now (smh @GustavMattias)

1) Never change your username / discord name / avatar / discord avatar. Pick something and stay with it through your entire 1st career and possibly 2nd career. Once you're established, you can make slight changes.

 

2) Be nice to people, or if you're going to be mean to people, you better be able to back it up in heated debate against numerous other VHLers at a time.

Take this a step further and bite them. Ask 100 people about the Tyson-Holyfield ear bite, and 95 of them will know what you're talking about, this much later. There are people who don't know anything about soccer who know Luis Suarez. Biting people is a quick way to notoriety.
