As the current curator and protector of the Victory Hockey League's famous lawless land known as the Thunderdome. After the post-game debrief in the general chatroom, I have collected the various theories that have formed in the aftermath.
 
1. Achilles is their very own person, and is a troll.
Up yours, woke moralists. The most obvious selection that I'm going to offer is that this is a true first generation member on an absolute rampage against the Victory Hockey League moderation team. A victim of Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson's incel bait, Achilles has bite the onion and is here to create chaos. Hijacking Jruutu's thread that was previously hijacked by Tate, and an attempted hijacking by OMD is the leading evidence we have here. Once the tap was dry his creation of 3+ threads in the media spot section to juice up the attention point towards this theory. The various references to snowflakes and leftism are an obvious troll attempt.
 
2. Achilles is their very own person, and is not okay.
One of the theories floating around the post-game chat was that Achilles was having a Ye-style mental break. He made a lot of references to being a gay trans man, which is genuinely one of the most discriminated groups in history. I have a hard time believing this theory because of certain language indicators that have been frowned upon in the trans community in recent years. This is one of the saddest results of this is the true theory and I hope they can get the hope help if it is true.
 
3. Achilles is former VHL member JACK JOHNSON!
I have got to admit, this is my favorite theory. With the similar spelling, and similar points being parroted against the moderation team, the relation to the master of multis, Jack Johnson, is uncanny. Do you think Mr. Joey Pizza of critically acclaimed party school Arizona State University wouldn't create a Canadian alter-ego in an attempt to continue undermining the sanctity of the Victory Hockey League? The main detraction to this claim is of an alleged discord call between notable members of the VHL and Achilles, which claim he is NOT a 13 year old as previously alleged by Dil.

4. Achilles is former VHL member KACHUR!
Truly the king of VHL trolling, Kachur was a fiend that used an alt account to spew shit on as many members as possible, almost got hired as a moderator, but did lead directly to Dil being hired as a mod.  This final point is the most notable - the former competent moderation team was already running smoothly, but Kachur creating a shit storm on the forums and discord led to this explosion of VHL's "over moderation".  There is no evidence of this theory being true.  Writing styles between Kachur and Horcrux were generally consistent, and both are different to Achilles nonsense off-brand of English.  Of course, this could be a direct way to throw people off of his scent.
 
5. Achilles is current VHL member FISHY!
The favourite pick of conspiracy theorists across the Victory Hockey League - an inside job. The DAY after Fishy is no longer a moderator, "Achilles" pops off on anti-moderator rhetoric. This wacky behavior by "Achilles" can truly and utterly only lead us to one conclusion: fishy in either an act of REVENGE, or to show their worth to the moderation team wanted to throw shade on Baozi and his moderation gang. What is fishy's end game in all of this? Cement their legacy as VHL's best moderator and force Josh and Trollketov to name them new VHL HEAD MOD! 
 
Everyone please inform me of any theories you may have regarding the user Achilles. Remember: these are all just theories! Only "Achilles" truly knows what was going down, which will certainly lead to their legacy of being one of the members in VHL's history.

It's appreciation week! I appreciate you! And you! And definitely you! Not you. And I most definitely appreciate you 😁
 
I don't usually write a media spot for Theme Week so I have to start off with saying I appreciate @Daniel Janser for telling me to fulfill the S83 Theme Week requirements by "kissing up to" and "bootlicking" you peeps on VHL 🤪
 
Now then let's begin…
 
I appreciate @Spartan for being the first to reach out to me when I first joined VHL from randomly searching for a hockey simulation game on Google Play 😂 Appreciate for the warm welcoming effort and teaching me the basics, then trading for me and giving me a role with the Las Vegas Aces.
 
I appreciate @Crstats23 for being a bud in the Las Vegas Aces locker room and challenging me to raise my commitment level to improve my players.
 
I appreciate @dlamb for reaching out for the VHL S74 draft and teaching me how to build a proper scorer to dominate my draft class in S75 as a rookie member of the New York Americans.
 
I appreciate @Esso2264 for drafting me into the VHL and teaching me tons in the world of VHL, although we did not get anywhere with the New York Americans, I still had one of the best VHL careers created as a fresh VHL rookie. Becoming a top 4 franchise records player on an Original VHL team and having an outstanding 2 points per game career average in the Playoffs. Not many players have reached such an incredible feat in the VHL. I have to give GM Esso a lot of credit regardless of the lack of playoff and regular season success as a team.
 
I appreciate @G_Rush for being possibly my best line mate and a big reason for my first and only ever individual award.
 
I appreciate @thadthrasher for being a great teammate and locker room enthusiastic in an underperformed New York Americans team.
 
I appreciate @Arce and @Moon for picking me 6th Overall for S82 VHLM and giving me another chance to compete for the VHLM championship title, although unfortunately it ended up being a terrible throw and embarrassing loss; giving me a 2 for 2 in Finals Loser appearances 🤣
 
I appreciate @BOOM for an incredible Sig which I still use right now, I need a new Sig!
 
I appreciate @Ricer13 who put a lot of trust in me and traded up to pick me 5th Overall in the S83 VHL draft, perhaps saving me from another run with the New York Americans.
 
I appreciate @Shindigs for selecting me for the S82 World Juniors Championships Team Canada and help give me my first championship title and gold medal (although it won't show up in the records)
 
I appreciate my S83 teammates in the Calgary Wranglers locker room @Jamomayo, @Lazarus, @Daniel Janser, @Phil, @DollarAndADream , @Big Bob, @Ben, @efiug, @jacobcarson877, @leandrofg, @assassin6898

If there is one thing I love about the VHL, it's the history aspect and having records of... just about everything really. You can see a teams top players, top goalies, their stats, everything you need to do an article like this. With the history comes great responsibility and as a new GM, I figured what better way to kick my tenure off than with a jersey retirement post. I am actually fortunate enough to be the first LA GM to retire some numbers so it makes it even more special, as I get to retire three of the best players to play for this franchise to date. Without further ado... the retirements!

As you may remember, for the holiday charity fundraiser, I auctioned off naming rights for the main character of a new short story. The story has gone through several revisions and is ready to publish...except that I haven't been able to make a cover. This is where you come in! Once this is done, I can get the finished product up on Amazon and anyone who wants to will be able to check it out for 99 cents, or for free if they have Amazon's Kindle Unlimited.
 
Details
 
1 -  The cover size needs to be 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, obviously 2560 tall, since it's a cover.
2 - Conceptually, I'm looking at a night scene, purple/black sky, with a futuristic city taking up the majority of the middle and top thirds of the frame in the background. Ideally there would be one skyscraper that is taller than the rest, but that doesn't matter as much. The bottom section is in the foreground, a brick wall, where the title of the story and my last name (pen name) is spraypainted. 
3 - The title of the story is -7 and my last name is Emerson. 
 
I've been working on this for a month and can't make anything that looks better than a slapdash hack job. I think for someone who knows what they're doing, it probably wouldn't take more than 20 minutes, but for me, I'm just guessing and moving sliders and making a goddamn mess. Any other details/questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
