but this is what happens when your in a rush Jardy, it's dissatisfying for all when the tops are just in and out. Let this podcast be a testament to taking your time to make good things happen lol

As you know Seattle had an exciting and transformative off season and are doing very good so far this season. They look to be in a spot to compete for the cup! In this small article I'm going to do a 1/10 score for value for the team so far. Of course these scores can change later but for now this is how they look so far.
 
Calgary Acquires:
Erlantz Jokinen Lucifer Olivier Leveque Seattle Acquires:
S81 NYA 1st (Hulk Hogan 2) S82 CGY 3rd S83 CGY 3rd 8/10 - While losing Jokinen hurts right now long term it looks like a steal. With Hogan most likely sticking around long term.
 
Seattle Acquires:
Venus Thightrap Prague Acquires:
S82 SEA 4th 11/10 - While I didn't partake in this one a lot its looking fantastic now. 
 
New York Acquires:
S83 SEA 4th Seattle Acquires:
Luke Thornton 11/10 - Another absolute steal. Getting Thornton for essentially nothing was key in having our team compete. Even if there was a chance he wouldn't sign.
 
Calgary Acquires:
Pekko Viitanen Seattle Acquires:
S82 LAS 3rd 5/10 - This one was a bit of a wash. Calgary gets the guy they want and Seattle grabs a pick that might be useful.
 
New York Acquires:
S81 CHI 1st (Robert Wilk) S81 RIG 3rd (Jp) S83 SEA 3rd Seattle Acquires:
Deagun Rust Zeedayno Chara 7/10 - This trade was key to making Seattle competitive again. While trading the 12th overall pick was a steep price the extra addition of Rust offsets the cost imo. All in all one of the big trades to get Seattle buzzing again.
 
Helsinki Acquires:
S82 SEA 2nd S83 SEA 1st Seattle Acquires:
Sirdsvaldis Miglaskems 9/10 - I'm not sure why Helsinki didn't do their homework before the draft but their loss is our gain. Getting a just drafted young franchise player for a most likely middling 1st and a low 2nd which lines up with the future competitive window? That's a deal any day of the week.

So this is really nice. I kinda like aspects of all of them, I understand why you chose the one that you did. It's probably the strongest of the three, just because it feels cleaner and better executed. I'll say, I think what it is missing is some lighting, and if you used some of coloring on the second one, and tones it down a little especially around the face, you would have nailed it, and it would have given the sig a lot of depth. Even the third one feels like it has way more depth, but I still perhaps like the first more than it as well, just because I think it's overall a little too dark. If you took the lighting and colour from the second and the depth from the third and applied it to the first I think you'd have something really nice. With that being said, I think this is great. I like the text and design. The Davos subtext is actually really gool too. Jersey change is good, and the secondary faded render is good too. This this is the best one I've seen from you, great work! 9/10

I'm guessing this is a poster of some sort because it does not have any of the logos associated with hockey cards. This graphic is extremely tonal and reminds me of a very toned down andy warcol thus it seems very stylized and specific.  I can't say i love that palate but that is a personal gripe, i feel like the tones could have been more complimentary and less army/navy fatigue inspired.  The text you chose goes really well with the simplified style you used throughout the graphic and over all  that the style feels cohesive. Over all my biggest gripe is the fact that there is more detail in the ottawa logo than in your render's face and it takes the focus away from it. I am assuming that that is what you wanted since you chose such a meme- able face on the render ( and i honestly love that choice it made me laugh). 
 
8/10 this graphic has it's hiccups but is over all very solid, keep up the great work.

1. What are your thoughts on the VHL's off-season overall? Quiet? Good? Busy? Weird every team was selling except 3 etc?
It was long cause I had no playoffs but it went by quickly as i helped NY with offseason moves. 
 
2. Overall thoughts and grading of the Bears off-season?
I think the Bears did great. Added all this talent , have great prospects and still have 3x 1sts rnd picks  in the next 2 seasons. 
 
3. Thoughts on the Bears trading for @BladeMaiden (Venus Thightrap)?
 love the trade but don't understand the valuations.  @BladeMaiden has always been a favorite of mine so getting to play on a team together again is awesome. 
 
4. Thoughts on the Bears trading for 
@Jtv123 (Luke Thornton)?
It worked out well.  Thornton was able to sign and join a contending team to finish out his career.  Someone I know once drafted Thornton @Jtv123 14th overall 😉 . 
 
5. Thoughts on the Bears trading for  @Jubis ( Zeedayno Chara)
THEY WILL NOT REGRET IT !!! 💥💪
 
6. The Bears signed RIGA forward Justin Lose @youloser1337 in FA. What were your thoughts when it happened?
With Riga not trying to win ,  Lose wanted to join the competitive Bears.  
I wasnt a bear yet, but it made me want to join the squad even more. 

1. What are your thoughts on the VHL's off-season overall? Quiet? Good? Busy? Weird every team was selling except 3 etc?
I think it was a good mix. Lots of options still for during the season that we can hopefully see some movement even during the regular series.
2. Overall thoughts and grading of the Bears off-season?
Fantastic Rebuilt and have enough tools to actually be competitive and keep the locker room positive and excited.
3. Thoughts on the Bears trading for @BladeMaiden (Venus Thightrap)?
Fantastic value. Getting a top end player for almost nothing was a good deal.
4. Thoughts on the Bears trading for @Jtv123 (Luke Thornton)?
Most underrated move of the off season. Getting a player of his caliber for again almost nothing is a good deal anyway you look at it. 
5. Thoughts on the Bears trading for  @Jubis ( Zeedayno Chara)
I know the discussions were a little difficult but they eventually got done. Grabbing a top end D for the push should hopefully separate us from the pack. 
6. The Bears signed RIGA forward Justin Lose @youloser1337 in FA. What were your thoughts when it happened?
Lose was a sleeper of the FA class. Grabbing a top end winger in FA is hard to do and getting one that as good a member as Loser is a win every day.

I agree, we could be a lot less traditional with teams. The VHL loves Scandinavia and North America and the reds and blues. You’re damn right we need pink teams and Halloween teams and cities below the ocean!

-> helpful hint, just use their names if you ever get stuck (as a person who is really right wing or old fashion might be offended by the use of they) tbh a name is the only truly neutral these days.
