What people seem to have looked past, failed to realize and failed to understand out of pure stupidity and pure hate for me is that I no where in the first part said anything about being happy that Kobe died. Buddy if you think one basket player meant a lot to you, then you are one lonely fuck. Kobe was quoted once saying he does not pity people. So do you think if he was living and you died in a similar crash do you think he would pity you and the others that died? Do you think he would actually give a fuck? I skimmed for "trigger" words which was Robbie. And what you people seem to not get from this post is the simple fact that this article is about everyone seems to care about famous people then regular people. When they themselves are regular at best. People weep for these famous people but not for the others that die. No one cries about people dying in Africa, people dying on that Iran flight, people that will never be found on MH370, or the little boys raped by the priests, or little kids raped, all those are hidden in the news. So in a way Seattle picked Orion and he decided that he should stay in Seattle for a shot at a cup since he hasn't won one in a few seasons. No one really knows what was said between the two sides because rumors were flying that Robbie Zimmers and Orion Slade were ignoring any and all communication from the team. But then on the eve of Orion of being able to talk to other teams he signs a two year contract with Seattle, but obviously the second year being a player option. Did Orion just see that Seattle was clearly the best team even then, before free agency started so other teams had to catch up to them. Or did he just take a shot and hoped that it would pay off. No one really knows and that's exactly how Orion wants it. Orion said in a interview that "Why does it matter why I signed in Seattle? are you that fuck feeble minded? look buddy I am here and I am here to win. Is that the reason why I signed? fuck no! if you want that answer you are going to find a glass vile I buried in Siberia. In there is the location of another vile in Antarctica and so on down the list till you realize I just wanted you to fuck off. So lets skip all that and you just fuck off now. Sound good?"

Toronto has been eliminated from the playoffs in seven games and Orion Slade failed to win another cup in yet another failed season. Sure, Toronto took one of the best teams in the league to the brink. That’s great and all. But it means nothing to Orion. He is leaving Toronto in the off-season, in hopes he can find a team that is cup contender that wants him. Seattle will probably come knocking yet again, but after how last off-season unfolded who really knows if he will even take their call because he is not happy with the team vote they took just because he didn’t want to sign a two-year deal. When asked about the possibility of playing for Seattle, Orion said “Look, I didn’t like their stupid survivor style vote last off-season. I wasn’t even on the team and they voted me off because I wanted one not two seasons. Fuck em. If they want me, they can figuratively suck my cock and beg me. That’s all I have to say about that” It will be interesting with just a few seasons left, where will Orion take his talents next season. Why do people give to charities? Seriously answer that question for me, because the only reason that people with money do it is because they want tax breaks. Not out of the niceness of their hearts. No one really is a nice enough person to give money to charities just because they are nice. Why give money, your hard-earned money to people who need it? Come on think about it. Do you really think that your little money that you give really helps? Do you know how expensive it is to live? After all the donation money is filtered through the employees of the charity, there isn’t much left. They need to pay their people and other expenses. That’s not even mentioning that more charities are scams then not. So why do people really give?

The people that give money to charities don’t do it out of the niceness of their hearts, they do it so they can say “He look I gave money; I think you should too” It’s so they can look better than you. So, when the league holds a charity drive and says “Hey donate money” and people do it. I sit back and laugh. Not at the charity. Which could be a hit or miss if it’s a scam or not. But I laugh that all these people that are trying to do the nice thing and give money. But they will not get the recognition. The Charity will see that the league made the donation. Not the people who actually gave their money. Sure, the league matched the money. But the leagues money is your donated money into their holdings. So not only are the league matching with your money, they are taking your newly donated money and have donated the money under the “VHL” banner and said “Hey look at us, we donated this money so you sorry fucks can thank us now” Sure, there is a small possibility that they did this out of the niceness of their hearts and just wanted to give money as a league. Not as a singular identity but as a group of people.
 
Which brings up another fucked-up fact. If they are (I’m sure they did) donating as the league to be nice and showing strength in numbers, saying we as a group, a community online have donated this money. Not only have they taken away your donation from your name, but they also said this league as a whole donated the money. Which I’m sure most of you did not. I know I didn’t and I never will. I only “donate” when I want a tax break. But whatever, who am I to tell you how to spend your dead moms hooking earnings? If you want zero recognition and zero thank you then you did the right thing. You donated as a group. One last fucked fact. Me ranting about charities gets me 12TPE this week because of the Charity drive free doubles week. Funny huh? I think so. Anyways! You will never be recognized for your donation. Remember charities say “No donation is too small” so don’t say that you only donated $20. Because no donation is too small. So the league did this whole twelve days of Christmas thing, where they gave TPE each day leading up the Christmas. Which was nice and all. Don’t get me wrong they could have just given a free week and had been done with it. But they went above and beyond that and gave a bunch more TPE. Now where I have the issue is that they gave away dollar values with the said TPE. The dollar values added up to the grand prize on Christmas Day.
 
It was like $800 or some shit like that (Probably wrong, the dollar value is not the issue) and on Christmas had a draw for winners for a predetermined number of prizes. Which were an NHL jersey for one person, NHL 20 for a few people and I think and I maybe wrong, a few players got “donation” money to get whatever they want.
 
Now that “Donation” is not really the issue here but it’s funny how the league said the value was something grand and they wanted people to be like “Thank you for being so generous” Well think about it. If you “donate” to the league the money goes to the league and you get free TPE or whatever you want in return. So what the league did her was saying “Hey here’s $20 (Example) you can spend on the player store” Obviously the player gets credited the $20 and sure the league “losses out” on those donations. But Do they really lose out? I feel like when they came up with the prizes, when they came up with the shittier ones they just were like fuck! What can we give? And they came up with that. It’s stupid really. To say what you can get for $20 really holds a value of $20 is a joke really. I wouldn’t spend 2 cents on it. My point here is that the Donation money shouldn’t be counted against the Prizes total worth because its not worth it at all.
