    Hi Everyone,

    This is where we will be conducting our 12 Days of Christmas draws. A slight alteration to the previously scheduled plans: The drawing will take place on Saturday, December 26th. Unfortunately, scheduling will not allow us to do it earlier, but it is happening and some of you will win the prizes!

    Here is a list of all "tickets" to each draw. Some of you have changed your username since the numbers were tallied, so please make sure this is correct. If you notice any issues, please send me a PM and I will try to fix it. If you believe you should have a tier 4 entry, but do not, please make sure to read the rules before sending a PM, as there were a few people who did not qualify due to this.

    Reminder: Members were eligible for a maximum of 4 entries to the tier 1-3 draws through posting in the daily threads and making a donation/winning an auction during the charity drive, and only a single entry to the tier 4 draw.

    If you have a Tier 4 ticket*, you may claim 1 Uncapped TPE.

    How to Claim
    VHL Portal > Player Management > Claim Uncapped > Other > Other > Link this post

    *Please note that the 3 VHL Commissioners will not be eligible to win the Tier 4 prize draw.

    I was stunned by the generosity of the league last year and honestly this year blew me away even more. Absolutely amazing everyone, I’m basically speechless at this point. It was a hard year for everyone, including many of us here, so to see everyone come together and put SO MUCH towards good causes like this really makes me so proud of what this league has become.

    Hi Everyone!

    As you all know, the 2020 Holiday Bonanza came to a close last night, and was a rousing success! Between the holiday drive and the holiday auctions, the league managed to raise an astounding $3300 in the name of charity! Of that money, $2685 was donated through the league paypal, while direct donations added over $600 CAD to the tally. The league will be adding $515 to the $2685 donated through our paypal, to send an incredible $1600 CAD to each organization, Food Banks Canada and Feeding America! This means that the TOTAL contribution from the VHL and its members is a bewildering $3800 CAD!!!

    As you were all so generous, we decided to add a 4th Community Perk: Everyone may claim a free Doubles Week*, which will replace your Point Task for the week claimed, and give you 6 Uncapped TPE as well.

    Again, I'd like to thank everyone who contributed their time, money, and resources to this donation drive. Many people are in need of help in putting food on their tables this year, and thanks to all of you we can help some of those who are less fortunate. I've said it before, but you all make me, and the rest of the blue team, extremely proud of the community that we've got here!

    Thank you!
    @Commissioner

    It's been awhile since I wrote a media spot since I've been scouting for VSN, so I'm going to divert attention from there and take some inspiration from another thread done earlier this week and thank some people I owe a great deal to.

    First, @Motzaburger.  You claimed me twice for Mexico City, once in s67 where I went IA (when I had no idea what I was doing) and the second time in s71 (when I was just a welfare bum).  I owe you big.

    Next, my first real bud, @Hylands.  It seems I've ended up following you wherever you went, lol.  VSN, GM chat, wherever else haha.

    Then my first draft experience in s72, @Dil and @Jubo07 selecting me to Halifax and Helsinki.  This is when I starting catching the community fever and met some good guys like @a_Ferk and @InstantRockstar.  It's also when I started putting more effort into my player and asking questions.  It kinda prepared me to what was coming next though...

    I think I owe all my VHL efforts to one guy...

    @Sonnet

    He had interest in trading for me during the season in s72 on such an empty team and after joining that LR, @PatrikLaine @KnightRiley @JigglyGumballs and @DreMin15 made that LR just awesome.  Just us 1st gens in there sparked something in all of us to learn as much as we could about the league, earning the sweet tpe and just the healthy competition that wanted to make us all better members for the league.  Yeah, we sucked terribly but those memories make Houston home.  I'm the AGM there now and that experience is what motivates me to create such a silly, helpful, and active environment there.  The gratitude must be known and given to the s72 Bulls.

    As Sonnet became VHLM Commish during that season, I got to meet (my future boss) @rjfryman, the heir apparent to the Houston GM job.  Right from the get go, he was very helpful to me.  I ended up getting selected by @McWolf in the expansion draft to play for London, so RJ was supportive of me going there as I initially planned to stay down and go to Helsinki in s73.  McWolf had enough faith in me so I went up in London's inaugural season and I'm still there three seasons later.

    I still had my heart in Houston though, so when RJ assembled such a stacked squad for Houston's s73 season I got to meet such a colorful gang comprised of @Banackock @Quik @BladeMaiden @Plate @Renomitsu  @okochastar @Jeffie43 to name a few.  London was pretty bare, but I met great members like @der meister @TTtheT and @SirRupertBarnes and enjoyed our first terrible season there.

    Near the end of that season, changes were happening in VSN and I was approached by @Doomsday to join the scouting department.  Thanks for hiring Plate and myself that season, it was such a crazy time but I learned a whole lot about that side of the VHL.  Yeah, Plate went awol shortly thereafter, but I saw opportunity and I took it upon myself to get the job done.  I have to give a shout to @Patrik Tallinder for laying groundwork that I follow to this day in the content I create.  You've given me ideas that have help make relationships possible and easy.

    All VHL and VHLM GMs, thank you for giving me your quotes for draft content and letting me into your LRs to spread content around and pay favors forward by helping out wherever I may serve.

    During S74, we had the recruitment boom.  So many new folk to scout and interact with, I'm terribly sorry but I cannot name you all, there's too many to name (or tag) and I will not give preferential treatment to a handful of people.  You know who you are.  I realigned with RJ during mid-season s74 to become AGM of the Bulls.  It's been such an incredible experience to take part in trade talks, draft strategies and learning the ropes of STHS and Simon T's neurotic personality disorder that drives many of us up the wall!  I did get my first taste of STHS as GM of WJC Canada in s74 so again, a big thanks to the commissioners RJ and @Acydburn  for that experience.

    I've come a long way from humble beginnings, as I do tend to fly under the radar and remain a lower-key member of the community.  We all end up connecting in some way with the ebb and flow of time and from season to season, but every time I log into the Portal or Forum, or writing content, I'm home and I'm writing for a family.

    @Sonnet

    I think I owe all my VHL efforts to one guy...

    @Sonnet

    You deserve to be tagged: McWolf, Jubo, Bana, @Jubis @JeffD @Enorama @GustavMattias @Josh @FrostBeard @Victor @Esso2264 @diamond_ace  @hedgehog337 @Peace @Beaviss @.sniffuM @Spartan @Ricer13 @Rayzor_7 @ColeMrtz @DoktorFunk @MexicanCow123 Rockstar, Dil, RJ, Dooms... alot of my first interactions with you are because of VSN and thank yous all around for even the slightest interaction!

    Love you all VHL Fam, I miss you Sonnet, thank you for everything, even though our time in Houston was short.  You made it possible for me to be the member I am today.

    That locker room was awesome even though we lost a lot. Thanks for making my first season special @MattyIce and thanks for being a great friend! ❤️
