We showed that we are not going to lay down despite of not being the most experienced team and sent London home early. We also took one game from Prague with a dominant showing in a game 3. So yes, we have a potential and we need some more experienced pieces to make the championship run happen. All I gotta say now is I'm out here doing something in trade market. We also have the 8th overall. We ended up higher than Calgary in overall standings, that's something. Though this may prevent me from drafting a player I wanted so we shall see what am I gonna do with this pick. Options are there, need to choose one of them. Oh yeah, I already mentioned this couple of times, but yesterday I ''celebrated'' 4 years since I became Riga GM. Here's to another 44. I don't remember was I expecting to be at this position for so long. But I was always a fan of longevity (see: playoff appearances record) so I'm still your Riga GM ok thanks. I've had a couple of moments when my interest was going down a bit and then something brought my interest back. Like I wasn't very active in S73-74 (summertime yay) and then the S75 draft came in. I had to refresh things and I made a firesale and pretty made an all first gen team. I'm very happy with my decision as we're growing really fast and this is the main reason why we only rebuilt for one season. I'm not gonna predict when I'll step down tbh. When the time comes, it will happen. When I'll feel like there's nothing interesting happening for me anymore, that's for sure gonna happen. Not now though. That's it and I'm out.

well, considering that making playoffs was almost a pipe dream after a 0-7-1 start I can't complain about this season. Our young guns tried their best and I can't wait to see them when they're becoming better! Sucks to see such a quick ending for Lagesson and especially our legend @Cxsquared, but at least we tried and even took a game here. GG @diamond_ace and good luck in the next round!

sounds fun for guys who will get a GM job in an affil team, but other than that...eh? Like a player gonna spend a season or two in minors, then another one or two in affiliate and only then coming up to pros when hes already in prime contract years. To each their own though, either being a God in a lower tier league or playing in pros with lesser stats. yeah nah. Imagine setting for 20 min per game at most when you're max capping every week. Also, Peace said it all on the team perf boost. I would've loved this during our playoff streak btw but more seriously, like if a team is aging as hell and there is not much ways how to continue to compete without giving up lots of assets to drag this out. I'd much rather sell so my team would be back on track asap and be stronger in like 2 seasons than being a pathetic mediocrity for all of that time just because I was dragging this out for maybe some playoff appearance. So yeah, there's nothing wrong to tank 1-2 seasons at the bottom and then make a splash with fresher faces. Not having much bonus TPE from TC compared to other playoff teams just because team's GM decided to start from the scratch...yeah nah. Also, shit luck matters here as well.
