2-What was your worst job?

Working at a grocery store with tons of overtime, the boss didn't care for our health. I now work in another grocery store were the bosses truly care for their employers and not just earning money.

I think it's pretty cool. My brother just got me into it so hopefully I learn more soon.

 

2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement? 

Not at the moment, but I'll definitely speak up if I find something.

 

3) The VHLM Newsletter launched earlier this week, did you read it and was it helpful to you?

Haven't given it any attention yet. I'll give it a look.

 

4) What are your aims this season in the VHLM?

Just trying to fit in for now.

 

5) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favourite for the VHLM Founders Cup?

My brother @zepheter is on the Philadelphia Reapers so I'll be rooting for them.

 

6) Is there any player on your VHL team that you're particularly looking forward to playing with when you make the VHL? (For players who were also in the VHL Draft)

As I said before, I'm sort of expecting to play with my brother for the majority of my career on this website.

1) Since it's not been too long since you've joined the league, what are thoughts on the league so far as a whole?

I am very excited to join the league, my father played in the VHL and I would love to be an impact player in the league like how he was -- except I want to win a championship. 

2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement? 

None that I can tell from thus far, I really love how the activity has picked back up. 

3) What are your aims this season in the VHLM?

Given that I joined mid-season I would love to finish the year with a positive +/- but right now... it's looking difficult. 

4) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favourite for the VHLM Founders Cup?

Saskatoon, they're deadly!

5) What do you think of your current VHLM team? 

I really enjoy it, I think I made a great choice by joining Mexico City. 

6) If a GM were to make you an offer, what kind of player would they be getting? 

They would be getting a great goal scorer who can play a little bit of defense and who skates extremely well.

Try to return to the ranch, kick back and crack open a cold one with the boys.

Going to work on my dangles so I can perfect the hockey trifecta of snipe-dangle-celly.  Already got the other 2 things down

 

6. How do you like your VHLM team so far?

I love it.  Everybody is super supportive and I get to play in an offensive role with ample ice time per game.

 

7. What show have you binged recently?

Brooklyn Nine-nine, a guilty pleasure of mine.

 

 8. What’s your favorite workout?

Definitely bicep curls.  You know what they say, curls for the girls.



10. Who should play you in the movie version of your life?

Hmm one of Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, George Clooney or any other above average looking actor.

I discovered it from somebody discussing the league in a discord channel. It seemed interesting enough so i hopped on and created a player.

1. I like my guys in Ottawa - we just advanced to the semis and are rolling 

2. I'll go with HC Davos as a bit of a sleeper pick, but they have been looking good. 

3. Tough to pinpoint just one player - everyone has been great for me since i was drafted here in the off-season 

4. Probably John Frostbeard, because it seemed as if I was chasing him for league lead in goals all season 

5. Seattle, Malmo, Vancouver a few that come to mind

6. My goal is to have a hall of fame caliber career and win some cups!

1.  We just got swept by Halifax, so I think they're on a roll and ready for a deep run.

2.  Vancouver Wolves look like the frontrunner so far, and I think they'll able to keep it up.

3.  Lincoln Tate has been stellar, putting up huge points from the backend.  Great impact player who has a bright future in the VHL.

4.  Callum MacElroy.  He put up monster numbers this year as a goal scorer and playmaker.  It's always inspiring to model your game after the league's best.  Plus, he's also the same position as me.

5.  Vancouver, being the city where I grew up in.  It will be a great feeling to play in my adopted hometown.

6.   To be a key contributor on a VHL championship winning game.  I don't need to be "the guy", but it would be great to contribute.

1. Philadelphia, obviously.

3. FrostBeard easily, he's a shining example of the type of player you want on your team. He's an incredible producer on ice, and an amazing personality off the ice, always keeping everybody's spirits up and making sure the team is at their best. He's a huge part of why this team is where it is now in the season.

4. It's tough to say considering I've kept to my own squad this year mostly, but if I'd have to say for sure, probably Bjorn Scoringsonn. I've tried to model a lot of my game after him, and it's seemingly working charms

5. Vancouver, cause I already got drafted to them.

6. Win the cup with both my teams. Already on a good track with Philly this year, and I'm looking forward to next year with Vancouver.

Helsinki is a good pick. Excited to join them next season.

Rodriguez is the spark plug night in night out. I had two seasons playing with him and it's gonna get a tad bit boring without him next season.

Alexander Pepper. He's a good performer every time he steps in between the pipes. He's a role model for young players coming up and easy-going.

1. I think Philly. Could be close though. Should have been MEX. 

2. Helsinki. Good run by Van but ultimately Helstinky is the better team. 

3. Probably the 11 year old @Nykonax. Answers all the questions, easy to chat with and always wants to succeed and have fun with da boys (cartel). 

4. I would have to say that no one really has outside of my team. We were a tightly knit group and not much talk with outsiders from other VHLM clubs. 

5. I think Vancouver is an easy pick for me. Otherwise, I'm open to other teams. Calgary would be the worst tbh.

5. For our S67 players, do you plan on going up to the VHL, or staying down? For our S68 players, or S67 players going back into the VHLM draft, which team do you think will pick you up? Which team do you hope will pick you up?

6. The VHL currently offers a bit of bonus TPE for being involved in our affiliates, the SBA (basketball league) and the EFL (American football league). Have you heard about this? If you have, have you considered joining those leagues? If you came here from either league, how does the VHL compare to the others?
