72. Best team in the league! Nobody could've predicted the level of success we've had, but to be where we are shows how great of an effort it's been from players and GM.
73. Good enough. I don't really care about points. I just want to win! Hoping we get the best two or three games of the season out of him to wrap this up and take home a cup.

75. We know that both teams can score, but the deciding factor will be who can stop the other team from scoring the best. Whether that's team defense or goaltending we shall see.
76. It's too bad you aren't including other VHL players because I think Wann Kerr and Daryl Dixon would be great candidates for the show. Big B will thrive in tandem with Dixon and they will ultimately win.

65. It was wild. They were taking turns slapping each other in the face, running in circles around piles of burning Toronto jerseys, and vandalizing the branding across the city. It was great to see!

Players like Eagles help us set the tone for the better half of the rebuild we’re going through and give us a chance to accomplish more than we probably should.

Last season Seattle went through quite the rebuild. Not a lot of players on the roster, but everyone understood the assignment. Chances were favourable to stack up the losses, despite trades and line movement. What was most important was trying to have our players statistically produce and continue on with our mission with the goal in our sights. It was quiet, but things have turned around huge for us as we enter into S93. Congrats to those of S92!

About the Award:
The Spirit Bear award is chosen each off-season by the GM of the Bears. There could be a lot of reasons why a member might be chosen and each season an explanation will/might be given. It's a thank you. It's an appreciation of what you've done for Seattle or maybe through that the VHL. You're deserving! Maybe you've overcome something crazy in life or have kicked it up an extra notch in the VHL TPE earning department. It's a good award for good things that are good. So, what's the catch?
The winner picks a charity of their choosing (I'd like to know why IF you're comfortable with sharing) and I will donate $10! I know it isn't much, but it's something.. and I mean, think of if I would have started this in Season 49.
Odin Omdalh, Florida Man, Dylan Doyle and Simons Worst Nightmare. 3 of those names have played for Seattle franchises throughout their times. @zepheter has suited up in 121 with Florida Man, 576 with Omdahl and 150 so far with Simons Worst Nightmare for a total of 847 games with the Seattle Bears Franchise. Over this time, they've scored 188 goals, 452 assists, 640 points, 813 hits and blocked 1,730 shots during the regular season. They helped hoist 3 Continental Cups with the Seattle Bears in S71, S73 and S77. They're one of the most loyal Bears in the history of Seattle and they're always there to chit chat in the locker room. They're an excellent example of putting the Team first and would do anything for their teammates to be better and for the team to win. Good dude and I'm very happy to have had the opportunity for you to be such a historic member when it comes to the Seattle franchise. It's very fitting that you get one of these awards with SEATTLE!
As I mentioned HERE! in Bana Blabs #101, I'll be topping up the donation with an extra $9, 1 for every game we went over for the Anti-Spirit award. Thank you for everything you do and have done for myself, Seattle and the VHL. Appreciate you. Love you long time brother.

12. This will put us in a position to be competitive. Didn't give up any important draft capital either. Great work from Bana.
13. A++. Gianfranco is going to be a stud, and Ecker might be a steal for us. Zinek and Nowaczyk could end up becoming something as well.
14. Trading into the first round to draft Ecker was a great move. Going in I felt we needed one more first-round prospect, and it was a treat to see that it ended up happening.
16. I'm not expecting a ton of production. I just want to help us be defensively responsible, so, ideally, I'll move out of the negative in +/-. Lots of work to flip the career total though
. 40 points again would be nice.
17. We're winning the cup. Haha probably not, but I think we'll push for a playoff spot. Come the end of the season I think we could be in the wildcard if not better. Just banking on good chemistry from this group.
18. This instantly gives us another top-line scoring threat. We're still young, but when you add players like Eagles who can elevate his teammates this could end up working out even better than expected.

1. Really strong start but finish flat. I’m pretty happy with it considering what we were working with. Looking forward to next season!
2. There were some glimpses of what is to come. I’m excited to take another step in the right direction with an important offseason ahead of us.

4. I forgot Victor’s player name but get him! Unless CIA falls. Either one would speed up this rebuild by a full season.
5. I’m not too familiar with the FA class, but we need some defense. If we could pick up a top pairing contributor that would be amazing, but all we need is to take baby steps and gradually fill the gaps with decent depth pieces. Let the core grow organically.

49. I think it's a smart move to add players who could contribute to depth scoring. Big B might also be able to stick around for the next couple seasons. Definitely worth the 3rd.
50. Not much to discuss on the deadline other than New York with two strong additions at forward and goalie. No franchise-altering moves this time.

56. No disrespect to the other players available, but Antonia Bucatini is the #1 prospect for a reason and will potentially step in right away and play big minutes. The type of player we need to mask some of our defensive issues for a season before I think we're ready to push for the playoffs.

41. I really thought Prague would have a better season. They have great players at every position so I figured they would be pushing for top team in the EU.
42. Probably New York. A lot of teams seem to be in a tough spot to add or already have the players they need. New York could use one last push to get into the playoffs over Chicago.
43. Has to be New York. They've got some players set to retire and are built fairly well from top to bottom.
44. Frenchman, Trunov, AK92 and Dilson are my MVP candidates. I don't see it going to a defenseman as the scoring is low from Dmen at this point.
47. Israel(when it's safe to), Hawaii, and the hockey Hall of Fame. I've heard great things about Israel and Hawaii from friends who have visited. Sounds like a great time. Going to the HHoF is a bucket list place I'd like to visit. As a hockey nerd, I've been eyeing that for some time and should go in the next few years if I can.
48. I think they should bring the all-star game back. There's plenty of players that don't get the recognition of winning awards and whatnot. It's a great way to show that more than 10-15 star players are important to the league.

The all-star game should exist to give credit to the players who might go under the radar for awards at the end of the season. Plenty of great players that simply don't have much help and Sev is one of them. The Bears may be a struggling team, but there's certainly a bright spot that deserves some recognition. @Banackock

1. I just saw Oppenheimer and I thought it was great. It was for the first time in a while my eyes were glued to the screen throughout the duration of the movie.
2. I'll go with Game of Thrones. I haven't read the books yet, but I plan to at some point. I like the fact that no character is safe regardless of importance. The story was fascinating and extensive. I can't wait for the spinoffs that they're also producing right now.
3. When I'm a little hungry I'll make two scrambled eggs. Healthy and not too filling.
5. I want to include EU teams but the NHL would never allow that. So Calgary, Toronto, Seattle and Vancouver. It would be an interesting debate because places like Toronto, Vancouver and even Calgary might be able to support those extra teams. For the sake of relocating teams from the EU I'd pick Riga, Moscow, Helsinki and Malmo. Putting one in Houston, Ontario, Quebec, then maybe give Milwaukee or Salt Lake City a team.
6. Well it's easy to say mine
, but I have to go with Condor Adrienne. Around the time I created my first player. OD makes some great players, but I remember there was a period of about five to six seasons where damn near every award went to Adrienne. Looking at it that's 12 awards from S70-75 as well as 2 cups. Dominant player.
7. Way better than I thought. Just passed 1/3 of the way through the season and I've already tied my career high in goals and am halfway to reaching last season's point total. Despite no offense in my game I continue to produce on the power play (maybe Severus is the reason for that).

10. I thought it was about as good as it could’ve been. Picked up a couple goalies which gives us depth at the position. Mongoose and Dil should be good additions. NineIQ could be a steal for us if he can steadily earn a little more than the bare minimum.
14. I think it will be another tough season. Hope we can keep it competitive and get contributions from our young players. There’s only up from here.
15. I’m expecting similar numbers to last season. 30-40 points and a billion blocked shots. I’m not worried about production this season.
16. Calgary or Prague. Both built very well. Obviously I always want to beat Calgary, but it’s going to be tough.
21. Depends on the context but if we’re talking alcoholic beverages I rotate through Modelo, vanilla crown and root beer, and red wine.
22. I haven’t paid too much attention to things going on around the league, but I think it’s in a good spot. We did a great job with the holiday charity drive as we always do. My only complaint is that we need more D prospects in Seattle and it’s a weak class for defensemen

1. It's always a great feeling when everybody's hard work comes to fruition. It never really gets old.
2. For me it was Rask, Sev and Dixon. I can't pick one. It was a complete team effort.
3. We had a team barbecue and surprised his family with an all-expense paid trip to Maui.
5. I was a little surprised but happy to see OMD come back in FA. I also like the EWJ trade. Despite mixing in some veterans, the Bears are still very young and I expect us to be good for a while.
6. Not expecting to be better or worse. Just waiting on the playoffs!
7. I can't predict the comeback we had to finish first in the division. Come the trade deadline and we should be rolling into the playoffs with a lot of momentum.
8. I took it to the beach and got absolutely hammered with all of my good friends back home. Served food and drinks in it, bathed my dog, and then took it to a local bar to let the community enjoy a moment with the cup.
