Papa Emeritus @Beketov stopped 18 of 19 shots, but ended up being outplayed by β-CHI G, who stopped all 52 shots it faced for its second win of the regular season. Sunrise van de Schubbekuteveen @Thunfish scored the lone goal early in the third frame, breaking the scoreless tie that had lasted for the first 40:17 of the game. With the loss the Menace fall to back to .500, sporting a 3-3 record good for the 4th place in the European Conference. Luc Tessier earned the first start with a 4 points game ( 3 goals and 1 assist ). Isau DaMoose won the second start also with a 4 points game ( 2 goals, 2 assists ). Before the beginning of the season the Prague Phantoms and the Riga Reign traded Battre Sandstrom for the 1st of Riga this year. Sandstrom is having an incredible season with 3 goals and 11 assists for a total of 14 points in 6 games. Game #47 recap : the game between the London United and the Warsaw Predators ended by the score of 3-2 for the Predators. Zach Kisslinger II, who finished second for the most points by a rookie last season, had a great night yesterday where he scored 2 goals in the victory. In the entire game, London shot 61 times and the Warsaw's goalie, Tater Tot, stopped 59 of them for a save pourcentage of 0.967%. After winning their first three games of the season, Calgary faced their West Coast rivals for the first time since losing to the eventual Cup winners in seven games in the Conference Final. The first two periods were fairly even with Vancouver having a 24-19 edge in shots and each team giving up two power plays but goaltenders Thadius Sales (VAN) @thadthrasher and Sirkants Klamasteris (CGY) @hedgehog337 matched each other save for save. Playoff MVP Jerome Reinhart @MexicanCow123 would finally light the lamp at 14:50 of the third period and with 28 seconds remaining, his brother Tyler @Zetterberg guided his team-leading 7th shot into the empty net with Klamasteris pulled. Nathan Perry @tinafrombobsburgers and Reylynn (The Other) Reinhart @Ricer13 led the Wranglers with 7 shots each but neither could beat Sales who stopped all 37 Calgary shots to earn his first shutout of the season and 8th of his career. A very good and even game. This game between the North American and Canadian rivals was a very good goalie duel between Vancouver's Thadius Sales @thadthrasher and Calgary's Sirkants Klamasteris @hedgehog337. We don't even see a goal until the third period! Vancouver's Reinharts (Jerome Reinhart @MexicanCow123 and Tyler Reinhart @Zetterberg) spoiled (Sirkants) Klamasteris' night with the only two goals of the game. Jerome scored his 6th of the season at 14:50 and Tyler added an empty netter at 19:30 sealing the deal for Thadius Sales shut out. Thadius Sales had 37 saves in the shut out win. Similar to game 33, we have another goaltender duel, but to a lesser extent. Unlike the previous game of the night, in Game 34, we see a more dominant team in HC Davos Dynamo as they fire on all cylinders to score 3 against Helsinki goaltender Xavier Booberry @CowboyinAmerica. Kyle Glass @Tbeez99 opened the scoring for the Dynamo 4:44 into the first period, and adds a second goal late in the second period (18:04) after Jonathan Ori @ROOKIE745tied the game at 1 - 1 early in the second period at 3:21. Kyle Glass finishes off the Titans with his hat trick goal at 3:41 into the third period. Similar to his second goal, his third goal was also on the power play. Final score Kyle Glass 3 - Titans 1.... I mean Dynamo 3 - Titans 1. Jurgis Kalvelis Blazevicius @efiug made 21 of 22 saves in their first win of the season.
