    Just wanted to shoutout @jack and @Motzaburger who are doing great work re-designing the Halifax logo. Hopefully we’ll have something to show the rest of the league very soon.

      Didn’t quite happen. 54 I think it was. I was on Seattle with Holik at the time. We went down 3-0 then pushed it to game 7 but couldn’t win the last game.

    Since you do the simming, I had a small question about STHS.

     

    I have a league with 16 teams, but they are automatically split into 4 divisions, and I can't find an option to change it to two divisions with eight teams. Do you know how to fix this?

      Beketov

      If you have attributes in the high 90’s like ours 2.1 engine is your issue, that’s why we don’t use it. Sliders do basically nothing compared to attributes and it was never built for 90+ let alone the multiple 99’s we have so scoring goes crazy. Get the attributes down or use the older engine.

      Could be. What version of the engine are you using and what are your sliders set to?

      You need the Align the League. The manual explains it.

    @Banackock Teasing VHLM with a Huge announcement is already bad, but not giving us any classy hints is just too tough - I will just keep drinking my milk and sit tight, but you as a huge information anchor should not do!

    Spent the past couple of days thinking “what the hell Tagger why can’t we see your mock draft now” but today I saw the VHL expansion announcement and it all makes sense now.

    @Beketov  Just like their is an old trade index, is there an old draft index that I can look at?

    In the first 5 seasons we have indexes for (20-24) a shutout streak was achieved 11 times. Of those 11, 7 were different goalies (Shaw had the most with 3 )and all of them were streaks of 2. So far in my search no one has passed 2 straight.

      I remembered the pro team schedule page exists so that's a much faster way of searching through these, bonus. Also, it won't be in the final document but let it be known that in S32 both Helsinki's and Calgary's Backup goalies got 2 shutout streaks. They were the only streaks that season.

    No VHL sim today as we let @Beketov and VHLM catch up to my speedy over simming those first few days. VHL Sims return tomorrow.

      Yeah, for this purpose I’m not too worried. I can’t see there being a streak longer than 2 prior to the Shaw / Kanou era. It sucks to not have the indexes in general but it shouldn’t affect this any. I’ve looked at 10 seasons so far and have only found 1 streak above 2.
