1. Chicago is in a little slump right now and can't seem to win as often as we did before. What can we do to change this?
Give Lee Xin more minutes IMO, the awoken one will lead us to ez playoff birth.
 
2. What is one thing you'd tell to a newer member to the league?
Don't say anything that isn't suitable for a kindergarten classroom to hear, because there are a ton of snowflakes who get offended at the littlest thing.
 
3. Which EU team would you like to see come back for the VHLE? 
Probably Bratislava Watchmen OR Bern Royals because I used to play on those teams way back in S40-S50 era.
 
4. Who should be given a chance to GM the new VHLE league?
Somebody who isn't a little liberal crybaby who soils themselves at the slightest indication of conflict or adult language.
 
5. Which line would you say has been the driving force for the team thus far?
Whatever line Lee Xin is on. THE AWOKEN ONE will lead us to ez playoff birth and hopefully get a long awaited award too.
 
6. Should we chase Lidia for the captain post on the VHL team announcement or should we just let it slide? 
I abide by Lidia's way to do things so I am content with letting it slide. If anything we need lower screamer prices on stream.

What the Future holds for Bastian Greiss
 
 
Intro

Bastian Greiss came fresh into the league around the half way mark of season 77. After being picked up by the Mexico City Kings, Greiss went on to play 39 games. While the Kings didn’t make the playoffs, Greiss finished the season with an impressive ,892 save percentage and 3.55 goals against average accompanied by 2 shutouts. While Bastian didn’t have much luck win-wise, he finished the season among the top 10 goalies in the league and created quite a buzz for himself going into the VHL and VHLM drafts.
 
Drafts

Going into the draft, Bastian Greiss was said to be one of the top 3 goalies to go first in the draft, most likely in the first round. In the leagues official mock draft, Bastian was listed to go 14th overall in the VHL draft to the Warsaw Predators. But in the days leading to the draft, many, assumed he would actually go a little but higher than that and have a shot at going to a different team. During the week before the draft, Bastian Greiss sat down to many interviews by both VHL and VHLM teams, and while he wasn’t set in where we wanted to go, he was happy to be receiving so much attention. The first draft to come was the VHL draft which saw many great players being picked off by some of the top teams, and finally, with the 12th pick in the first round, London United picked Bastian, 2 spots above what the mock draft had predicted. London finished 2nd overall in the regular season last year right behind the Warsaw Predators giving Bastian Greiss a great potential in the near future. London already has a strong goaltender tandem between Jacob Tonn, and Kloxified, but with Tonn retiring at the end of this season, its gives Bastian Greiss and fellow goaltending prospect Dexter Vaughn a great opportunity to compete to fill the empty space in the London roster. 
After the VHL draft, came the VHLM dispersal draft where Bastian was hoping to end back in Mexico City where he had grown accustom to the life and team management. With the 6th overall pick the draft, Mexico City picked Greiss as their first pick of the draft sending Greiss back home to Mexico City. Mexico City didn’t do well last season, but with a bigger and better roster this year, they are hoping to make a run for playoffs with Bastian Griess front-and-center in the starting goaltender role. 
 
Season 78 so far…

Season 78 is off to a good start with 11 games already completed. As for Mexico City and Bastian Greiss, Mexico City has only won 3/10 of their games played slotting them in at 8th out of the 12 VHLM teams with Halifax dominating the league with an impressive 11-0-0 record so far. As for Bastian Greiss, it has been a decent start to the season with a 8.88 save percentage and 4.33 Goals against average. While Mexico City is once again struggling, we expect great things from Bastian Greiss as he plays his final season in the VHLM.
 

Dear VHL,
 
Randy Marsh here with an open letter to all the players and teams out there. As you may know it is my final season in the VHL and I do have a few goals and fights left in me before I go back to Tegridy Farms. Now the goals have been coming as easily as a spooky ghost, but the fights not so much. Now I know I am an imposing figure, but gaul I didn't think it would be so scary to fight a middle out of shape dad like myself. I thought this was America, where any red blooded hockey player would drop the gloves at a moments notice. 

I do hear from many anti fighting hockey fans, who say things like "The players should all wear bras! And instead of helmets, they should wear little tinfoil hats, ‘cause, you know, it’s the future and we shouldn’t be so barbaric!" The pansification of hockey is well underway and well I'm just trying to keep it old fashioned.

So I'm giving an open invitation for any VHL player to fight me, cause I for one didn't hear no bell!

Great job for your first graphic, you have all the fundamentals, cut render, background, blending and text.  I think you have potential to improve quickly, once you get some more skills under your belt to help the flow of things.  Overall I'd give this first one 6/10

yeah the dude kinda looks like he went overboard with nose and chin plastic surgery. all of your other logos are great, this ones just not doing it for me

None of these are really that amazing, you guys are just so stuck on the nostalgia of former teams.  Sure some of the locations should return but I’d like to see more new ones tossed in, with some total logo revamps/refreshes to modernize the new league.

I think there isn't too much wrong here, besides the upward drop-shadow on the player render. To me, the jersey swap looks pretty nice actually and I'm pretty sure the shoulder # was changed and a good job was done on it as well IMO. The split background is interesting as it kind of looks like a 3d corner/edge sort of thing where the spacey wall meets the grey floor. 
 
My biggest advice for you would be to stop doing massive reso graphics and do the traditional sim-league sized graphic for awhile. The main reason is that glaring errors are less noticeable at lower resolution, not that there are any glaring erros here, but it's easier to over-analyze a graphic when it's in such a huge resolution.

Helps us get an idea on what people blank age do. Or blank country, helps us maybe find some trends. 

Okay so I have about 40 minutes before the deadline, and I just remembered it was Sunday. It’s long weekend for our Queen so completely forgot that this is Sunday. I spent all day making three new vegetable garden boxes so I have a mild case of sun stroke and I’m about 10 beers deep - so here goes.
 
- Hard Markinson has played well so far to start the season. He had a goal early on but has been a hit machine. I’ve enjoyed my time early on in Moscow, very excited to see how Hard does for the rest of the season and into the rest of his career.
 
- After my first full season as AGM in Malmo it’s been a pretty fun experience. Hylands has built something really good and I’m getting my GM fix just by consulting him through some of the moves he makes. I really do foresee myself sticking in a role like this as it is the perfect balance of being behind the scenes but not having to be as big of a role as GM.
 
- VHL announced a new mid-tier league to take away from some of the lower talent pool in the VHL. Instead of expanding, they are bringing in a new league where you can play in between VHLM and VHL. I like change and this will be interesting. However, I usually max out my TPE so by the sounds of it I’ll be bypassing this league every time I do create.
 
- I’ve been playing around with an idea in my head recently. I’m considering doing livestreams where I look through every single graphic submission posted that week and do a live review of them. Also possibly trying to do some photoshop work in stream. I just don’t even know how to stream and it seems like a lot of work.
 
I hope I have enough words, I’m on my phone so I can’t check... 

This would be pretty dope tbh, I'd casually sit and watch the photoshop work at least. For the live review thing, I think if you streamed a live review, you could probably turn that sheer volume into a podcast PT claim. OBS and Streamlabs are two tools I think most streamers use - would be happy to chat with you about OBS since I've dabbled with it a little bit.
 
For the photoshop work alone, you could just sit in a discord VC and share your screen!
