Well folks, we've officially reached the end of Season 76 with all honors now officially bestowed. 76 seasons of VHL hockey. I swear, I've probably said something to this extent wrapping up the show each season, but it doesn't seem to get any less impressive. This community just gets stronger, more inclusive, and enthusiastic by the day, and there's no signs of that slowing down. This is a special place, and that's thanks to each and every one of you. You all play your own role to make the VHL such a fun and welcoming place to be.

This was a pretty spectacular season as well. Mikko Lahtinen @Beketov and Andrew Su @Da_Berr dueling for the points lead, VHL defensemen clashed to become the new top blue liner in the wake of Condor Adrienne's @OrbitingDeath retirement, and we saw expansion teams rise from the ashes, knocking established franchises out of their way to battle for the Continental Cup. The Warsaw Predators finally achieved the first reverse sweep in the history of the VHL, and the Chicago Phoenix, four seasons after their creation, became the fastest expansion team to win the Continental Cup. Season 76 will certainly be one for future VHL historians to remember.

Some VHL stalwarts are also stepping away from their posts, marking the end of some stellar runs. @Beaviss, @FrostBeard, @Jubis, and @Victor have all contributed a lot of time and positive growth into our beloved community, and are getting a well-deserved rest from some of the rigors. Yet, they remain with us, ready to keep the league as fun as ever. But while they step away from their posts, they have sown the path for new legends to rise, new heroes to step up and stake their claim to the enduring legacy of the Victory Hockey League. It's the way the league has always been, and will continue to be.

Good night, good hockey, and don't forget to collect your prediction points on the way out!!

  • Doomsday changed the title to VSN Presents: The Season 76 VHL Awards Show

Can't hate on Tate success, but yall really had to focus on goals and ignore that Linus was over a PPG and almost a top 10 at shot blocks as a rookie? Not pleased with this one tbh.

Also, Diamond to Knight award? idk bout that

He's drafted really well, pulled off a heist in the Jungkok&Gyrfalcon trade which boosted the Phantoms into the playoffs and helped them finally get over the hump with their first series win. He's worked hard to get Prague this far.

Also, I'm biased. 😋

Mikko Lahtinen @Beketov, who made a strong case for a third-straight Scotty Campbell Trophy

Certainly not in the BOG, I immediately knew that @Da_Berr should be getting the Campbell. To do what he did with that little supper around him was insane, well deserved for sure.

Congrats to all the winners!
