@STZ

Hi everyone and welcome to the post where we will reveal the first set of players to be named to the VHL all-star rosters for the games next weekend! The first round of voting was voted on by members of VSN, and was for 1 player from each team. There will be an additional vote (link at bottom of post) open to everyone to fill out the rosters, to be eligible for this vote a player had to receive at least 1 vote in the VSN vote. In addition, The Dan Dan Rule is still in effect in which the players that lead the league in goals, points, and points by a defensemen will be automatically put on their conferences team.

Team North America

GM: @Ricer13 :cal:

:cal:Calgary Wranglers:cal:

Saku Kotkakoivu @DollarAndADream

Following a spectacular Season 83, Kotkakoivu has not missed a beat this season and currently leads Calgary in Points and Hits with 53 and 169 respectively, last season Kotkakoivu took home the Szatkowski, Campbell, and Funk Trophies, we'll see if he can duplicate that success for a second time.

:chi:Chicago Phoenix:chi:

Baby Bob @Baby Boomer

Since joining Chicago in an offseason trade, Bob has not disappointed and currently has 30 goals (4th in league), and 61 points (8th in league). Bob has proven to be a key part of Chicago's success this season and only time will tell how far this young team can go.

:dcd:D.C. Dragons:dcd:

Tui Sova @v.2

Now in their 2nd season with D.C., Sova has almost surpassed their previous seasons point total with 67 points in 45 games. Sova is currently 5 points back of the lead for defensemen scoring.

:la:Los Angeles Stars:la:

Art Vandelay @Gustav

Vandelay has burst onto the scene this season in a big way for the Stars, posting a 0.925 SV% and a 2.77 GAA so far in their rookie season.

:nya:New York Americans:nya:

Sven Eightnine @BarzalGoat

Another recent acquisition, Eightnine has proven to be a defensive weapon for New York. Although, not the most dominant offensive season for Eightnine, he could be in the running for the Jake Wilde Trophy with 174 hits and 118 shots blocked.

:sea:Seattle Bears:sea:

Sirdsvaldis Miglaskems @FrostBeard

The likely Dustin Funk Trophy winner, Miglaskems already has 5 more points than their previous season and is on pace to set a new career high by a considerable margin. Miglaskems is set to be the face of the franchise for Seattle and is showing that on and off of the ice.

:tor:Toronto Legion:tor:

Paul Atreides @Mr_Hatter

In the final season of their career, Atreides's play has not slipped one bit as they currently lead Toronto in both goals and points with 25 and 55 respectively.

:que:Vancouver Wolves:que:

Brandt Fuhr @Tate

The future of Vancouver is bright with Fuhr, the sophomore goaltender has had a solid season thus far with a 0.925 SV% and a 3.31 GAA.

Forwards:

:cal:Daniel Janser @Daniel Janser

:dcd:Duncan Idaho @OrbitingDeath

Defensemen:

:chi:Bo Johansson @Shindigs

:que::chi:Aurelien Moreau @Frank

European Conference

GM: @dlamb :war:

:dav:HC Davos Dynamo:dav:

Vinny Detroit @dasboot

Detroit has been a bright spot on the Davos roster this season and is a big reason why they are battling it out for 3rd in the conference after finishing 8th last season. Currently Detroit has 21 goals, and 33 assists for 54 points. Additionally, Detroit has been laying the body on all season and already has 202 hits.

:hel:Helsinki Titans:hel:

Nico Pearce @Spartan

Pearce has had a breakthough season, and currently is tied for the lead in goals and leads the league in points. Pearce is a big reason for Helsinki's success this season and one of the reasons why we can expect Helsinki to potentially make a deep playoff run.

:ldn:London United:ldn:

Cole Pearce @N0HBDY

Cole Pearce has had a solid season so far for London and is the main reason why they were in playoff contention for as long as they were. Currently Pearce has a 0.921 SV% and a 2.77 GAA in 43 starts.

:mal:Malmo Nighthawks:mal:

Druss Deathwalker @animal74

With Deathwalker's pending retirement an era in Malmo will officially come to an end, currently Deathwalker is still tearing it up as they lead Malmo in goals, points, and is set to potentially break the all-time hits record with just 149 more, this could be the most exciting race to watch as the season comes to an end in Malmo.

:mos:Moscow Menace:mos:

Papa Emeritus @Beketov

Papa Emeritus had a hot start of the season and hasn't looked back, currently we can expect Emeritus to walk away with all goalie related awards as well as potentially a hat in the ring for MVP as they have a 0.940 SV% and 1.96 GAA, good enough for the league lead in both stats.

Hard Markinson @STZ

The league leader in points by a defensemen, Markinson is the only Dan Dan Rule player to not also win the vote for their team. Markinson currently leads all defensemen in points with 72, of those points 24 have been goals which is truly impressive for a defensemen.

:prg:Prague Phantoms:prg:

Perry Laperriere @KaleebtheMighty

Laperriere has been a bright spot for Prague this season and leads the team in assists (27) and points (44). Prague does have a promising future and Laperriere will be a big part of it.

:rig:Riga Reign:rig:

Alex Johnston @Alex

Tied for the league lead in goals with 33, Johnston has had another spectacular season and is on pace for his 4th consecutive 100+ point season. Their finishing has been one of the factors why Riga is as solid of an offensive team as they are and we should expect the scoring race to be tight as the season draws to an end.

:war:Warsaw Predators:war:

Vasile Lamb @dlamb

Another offseason aquisition to really find their stride with their new team, Lamb has been an unstoppable force for Warsaw and currently has 24 goals, and 30 assists for a total of 54 points in 43 games. Lamb also has recorded an impressive 180 hits so far this season.
