So by now everyone has seen the news about the new attributes and what they are. However I know that some people might have been a little confused with the excel spreadsheets and the Maths of it all (Scary Maths is Scary). So see below a breakdown of all the hybrid attributes and how they relate to the ones from STHS.

For those that want the Maths this is what I consider a Minor, Moderate and Major influence.
1.       Minor increase 0-0.2
2.       Moderate increase .21-.5
3.       Major increase .51-.8
 
Next, we will look at how hard it is to upgrade a certain STHS Attribute. See below a table showing you how much is the minimum TPE required to upgrade the attribute by 1. Also I have a calculation on how much TPE is required to get the STHS Attribute to 99, please note that it currently takes 185 TPE to get an attribute to 99 on the current scale.

*The calculation was completed by upgrading to 99 of the most beneficial attribute first, then moving down to the less beneficial attributes. There may be a more cost effective way of getting an attribute up to 99.
 
Next, I have done a calculation on all of the new Hybrid attributes and provided a breakdown of their individual usefulness. This is done by splitting the Attributes in three groups. The first is the useful updates the ones that are considered Meta at this point, they are: Scoring, Defence, Puck Handling, & Skating. The ones that are second most useful and are considered secondary attributes: Passing, Face Offs, Checking & Strength. This leaves, Discipline, Fighting, Penalty Shot and Leadership as the almost useless attributes. I add up the amount influence the new hybrid attributes have, times the important ones by three and make the almost useless ones worth zero. This is the list of what I think is the most important attributes:

*Example of calculation = (PH,DF,SC,SK * 3) + (PA,ST,CK,FO) + (PS,LD,DI,FG * 0)
 
So I doubt this is much help to anyone but I like to crunch numbers and you should consider these numbers thoroughly crunched.

Looks better imo. Ill see if I can dive a little deeper and see if I can spot any other off meta builds that may be neglected. 

This is my notice to the league. 

I am stepping down from my role as a VHL GM at the conclusion of Toronto's season (prior to the VHL Entry Draft).
 
Over the last few months my interest in the Victory Hockey League has taken a steep nose dive, and as a whole I've found myself growing more irritated with the league recently; it has become a chore to login. It's not fair to those on the Toronto Legion, the league or aspiring VHLM & VHLE GMs/the GM wishful that a sitting VHL GM struggles to visits the forum beyond seeing sim results, engaging in minor trades and rarely reading threads. As the GM of Toronto I had massive plans for the second rebuild I had put the team through, I had doubled down on my scouting and was drafting members I thought would be a good fit within our developing locker room. Normally I think someone here would say something along the lines of how they feel bad the Legion weren't in a position to compete, but I'll be leaving my replacement with what I consider a decent young roster.

I've come to terms with myself on numerous subjects; as I get older I've noticed I have less personal patience with people, which can absolutely be attributed to the daily stresses I've had [and continue] to endure over the last couple of years and the mental pressure of those stresses; I lack the tact to deal with people and the drama -- innocent or not -- that comes with the territory of being a general manager; and frankly I'm an older soul who has more controversial opinions on the practices and strategies within the VHL.

History will remember me as a mediocre GM with no accomplishments, I accept that, but at least I'll step away with my integrity intact (and the S69 Saskatoon Wild).

I would have to say that the best would have to be NHL 09. The game at that time was the perfect blend of modern without any pay to win and garbage filler. It was just a good game.

lowkey the best logo in the league is Davos. Everyone memes it but its super clean and works for the team. 
3. If you could eat only one food for dinner for the rest of your life what would it be? 
tacos. Every type of taco is a little different and it can have pre much every food group in one food. Eggsalad sang would also be a good choice.

1. If you had to spend a night in a haunted house with 3 members of the VHL to protect or to hang with who would they be?

2. If you could delete any team in the league for any reason which one would it be?

3. Why is Seattle going to win the cup this season?

After a whirlwind of scouting and contract offers, Baxter Arcanum has officially accepted a position on the blue line with the Ottawa Lynx. Arcanum has prepared the following press release:
 
I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity that I have been given here by Ottawa management. They’ve got a place for me on the blue line getting solid minutes right away, and I think the coaching staff there will help me develop the offensive side of my game so that I can become the two-way defenseman who is a constant lurking threat to the opposition.
 
I am very excited to get settled into the locker room and meet my new teammates. I don’t know much about the culture in Ottawa, but I do know it’s a hockey city through and through, so I can’t wait to feel the energy in that arena on game night.
 
Additionally, thank you to each team who reached out to me. Each offer was tempting, but I felt that Ottawa would be the best place for me this season. Teams who didn’t have a chance to reach out: I’m sorry! I hope to connect with all of you in the future.
