Orion should be 1st

Orion Slade after that slow season last season is looking to up his game in a big way. Orion has said to have beefed up in the offseason in preparation for another founder’s cup run this season. Orion is said to have told his team that he is ready to dominate the league and make other teams weep. Even if that means that he has make his favorite team the Aces look like a bunch of fools.
 
Orion is looking to not take any prisoners this season because he knows that he has to dominate points wise to get himself for his cup hungry career that he has ahead of him. He will be looking to dominate stats, speed and all other ways that he can. The only hole to his game right now is that he does not play a dominant game. He does not care about playing without the puck. He leaves that up to the other players on the ice. He will stand at the blue line and wait for a pass so he can skate with it up the ice and hopefully score.
 
If you are one of the people that laughed at his piss poor numbers last season, just wait until this season. Last season he was buried on a talented team but this season he leads a crop of talented forwards and will be looked at to help out with at least 100 points but if you ask him, he tells us “130 or this season is a bust” We will just have to wait and see what he does.  

Orion Slade the current and last king of controversy was drafted by Helsinki. Orion and his agent Robbie Zimmers tried their best to make sure that Orion would not get drafted so he would be the master of his destiny. The problem here is not who drafted him, because Helsinki actually is a cup contender so after this season in the VHLM Orion will be on a cup contending team. This issue is that Orion now is locked into a three year deal, with a player option on the third year and that goes against what Robbie had planned for his player. "I wanted him to not sign with a VHL team this season. For him to build up the Orion mythology in the VHLM then hit free agency next season. Where teams would be begging him to come over and play for them. Helsinki threw a wrench into that plan. I thought going into the third round that teams got the note that he does not want to be drafted. But the Helsinki GM wanted to take a flier on him in hopes that he would sign on the dotted line. Which... He will. Some might laugh that he wen't int he third round but that was totally our doing. What you should be laughing at is that he was drafted. It's quite the sad day for the Robbie Agency when the player you setup to not get drafted. Gets drafted"
 
The whole PO on the 3rd year of the contract saves the whole "plan" for Orion. The plan is that he would play for a new team each year that he is in the league. Hell he is even switching his VHLM team, even though he would have loved to stay in Las Vegas. But Helsinki poses an interesting opportunity right from the hop. A chance to win a cup in back to back seasons, if the season stays on it's current course Orion may enter the league in S66 and win ROTY and the cup. Which will lead to an interesting scenario where he would decline his PO or pick it up and stay for yet another cup run. Which technically would go against the plan. But plans are oft changed up when something happens. Well this plan can be changed because Orion's ultimate plan is to see how many cups he can win during his career. Let his agent retire with an even higher cup count then he already has right now. 
To say what he or what his agent makes him do in two seasons time is a shot in the dark at best. To say that it will be a wild and interesting ride would be a more accurate assumption. This is the literal beginning of the end for one the most interesting agencies in the VHL. But it is the beginning of the end for one the people that lots may celebrate the day he leaves. I wouldn’t shock me that day will be celebrated every year with free TPE. Till then enjoy what’s coming or don’t I really don’t care. Oh. Calgary sucks.

So, TSN did something similar with the NHL, where they took the players contract, and points, and divided it to get $/point. So I've decided to do something similar, just with the VHL. Since the portal doesn't have the S64 Finances, I had to go into the player store to get the amounts, so some stuff might be wrong. I'll include the spreadsheet at the end with all the players (it's ugly).
 
Best Contracts
1. Roctrion King - $20,000 per point
2. Dan Wilinsky - $22,388 per point
3. Jorgon Weyed - $23,148 per point
4. Jake Davis - $24,691 per point
5. Joseph McWolf - $25,000 per point
 
New York has 3 of the best contracts in the league, and a great contract on top defensemen @McWolf who is rumored to be getting a new contract, will Spade be able to keep his new one at $25,000 per point, probably not. But nonetheless a great contract for a person who had 80 points. Same goes for Davis who had 81, and a slightly better contract.

2. Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette - $138,888 per point
3. Elias Sobeck - $136,363 per point
4. Elias Dahlberg $111,111 per point

Yes.... surprisingly I'm not the most overpaid player, that right belongs to Dabarno, who scored 1 point in 72 games. The two Elias' also have terrible contracts, with over 110k being paid for each point.
 
Anyways, I'll link the spreadsheet below so you can see how badly paid your player is, and can use this to get a raise in your contract extensions I'll maybe do something about team point totals and the respective contracts, like adding up the total points scored by each player on a team, then dividing by the salary they've used. Who knows. Bye for now though

I cannot claim the same link more then once. But I have a backlog of answered questions and questions so here we go
1. I doubt I will come back as a player. I've built up this Orion guy as my last and he will be my last. I am far to busy to be busy on this site. I may hop on once in a while to fuck around but thats about it.
2. It's boring as fuck. Like seriously, with forwards it's exciting because the points and shit. D well that's boring also but not as boring as a goalie
3. Off and one since S2? I think. But I left for like 8 seasons one time, and like 6 another.

Yes you read that correctly, don't listen to their little GM who I may or may not get along with... That's not the point. They cry saying look at us, we are better then Vegas. Well guess what if you were better then us you would shut up and just prove it. You wouldn't stoop to my level of brashness and arrogance. You would expect things like this from me because well... look what happened last time I was the Vegas GM. I ran my mouth morning noon and night. I made people want to team up and take us down, hell I got so fucking full of it all that I stopped submitting lines because I knew we'd win. A plan that almost backfired but we still won. Sure this Vegas team is not that stacked as the last one I was on but this team will still beat the socks off of Ottawa with their eyes closed. Will Ottawa win games against us? sure even the meek have their day. Hell i'd even bet on them beating us a few times. Why? not because they are better then us but because well @diamond_ace built a good team. A good one. Not a championship team but a good one. One thing he and his little team seem to forget is that I am on this team, yes while I will not carry the whole team but the Robbie Factor is in full effect. My hyping ways and brash personality will help new members on the team stay active and want to help push the team forward. Orion might be the driving force by the end of the season but... I cannot believe I am going to say this but it will be a team effort when we win the cup and Ottawa finishes 3rd. @Jubo07 is a fine GM you only rag on him because he somewhat has my personality. You also cannot stand that we both are on the same team. Which will give you flash backs of the last Vegas team when everyday there was a hype story, post, status about us. Ottawa may tell you that they are better and that we suck, but don't listen to them.
