  • Devise changed the title to Conference Semi-Finals Games: 7

I am not going to sit here and lie

I am disappointed 😞  with the result.

But

Hey gotta say Chicago played well.  Series required game 7 OT.   Congrats on the series win Pheonix gang 💪

Great series Helsinki, but you definitely owed us for last season. 😛 Onto our good Swedish friends.

Great job to everyone on Warsaw! You showed a truly tremendous performance! Good luck next season as you are only going to get better! Onto Moscow now! Let's do it!

Win 5 of 9 only to lose the series. Good look VHL. Are we going to look at whoever the sim person was to step down after this atrocious blunder?

Good luck the rest of the way for those who moved on. A

sad finish to what was a great season. I’ll be pulling for the Chicago Cinderella run. They have a tough road against a good DC team.

It hardly counts as winning when our lines are completely fucked. If you were the better team you would have won against our proper lines. As for Devise, it sucks to see happen but mistakes happen sometimes, there’s nothing we can do about it.

Lines are delicate in hockey. The big problem was Moscow got a free 2 game look at how their lines matched against Helsinki. Losing both games would have given the Moscow gm the insight to change lines and give them a different outcome. Helsinki on the other hand would see the two wins and not make changes. There is a domino effect here.

I changed my lines before Game 1 and didn't change them again until Game 5. My Game 1 lines weren't originally used and my backup was put in for Game 2. Hardly a level playing field is it

In fact, it's your GM who saw the resim results and changed lines between Game 2 and 3. Get the fuck outta here with whatever you're trying to say.

@Jubo07 changing lines? Unheard of!

Fact is the resim sucked but claiming that it wasn’t the most fair way of dealing with it is rediculous. A team shouldn’t have to deal with a 2-0 hole because of a simmer mistake, especially one that impacted 3/4 series.

Nobody is surprised you are supportive of resim’s. A guilty mind is very telling.

GG's Vancouver, really unfortunate with the re-sim, but it was an honor playing these 7 games vs you.     :dcd: :que:

Good series man. Unfortunate turn of events but it is what it is. Good luck in the Chicago series.

have i mentioned lately that this league stresses me out

honestly so surprised to see chicago win the series against calgary - i don't think anybody saw that coming, but I'll take it pleasantly!! huge shoutout to Calgary for putting up a really tough fight

it's unfortunate, but sometimes it needs to happen. Chicago had a 2-0 lead wiped out by the re-sim too, but both Calgary and Moscow didn't have their proper lines. Mistakes happen, it was corrected the best it could be, it's just unfortunate that the only series that wasn't affected ended up getting affected. As for Devise, this was the first human error by him in literal years, iirc. He and Bek give up a ton of time and effort to sim these games and make the league go, I think we can afford them the rare mistake.
