Quik 4,113 Posted February 22, 2021 Share Posted February 22, 2021 Hi Everyone, Something that has long been a point of contention is the Player Store, and that there is little point in purchasing non-depreciation fighters, given their cost relative to the other items available for purchase. Well, effective upon the conclusion of the Continental Cup Finals, there will be some changes to the prices of most items in the Player Store, which will be as follows: First Generation Doubles: $1.5M ---> $1M Point Task Upgrade: $3M ---> $1M VHL.com Upgrade: $3M ---> $1M Point Task Doubles Week: $4M ---> $2M Full Doubles Week: $7.5M ---> $4M Uncapped TPE Packages (5 / 10 / 20 TPE): $3M / $6M / $10M ---> $2M / $3.5M / $6M Awards Prediction Multiplier (x2 / x3): $2.5M / $5M ---> $1.5M / $3M As well, there will be adjustments increasing the cost of TPA Reroll and position switch, which will come into effect immediately, as well as the introduction of a true First-Gen re-roll that is a little more forgiving to members who have never had a VHL player before. TPA Reroll: $6M ---> $7M Position Switch: $3M ---> $7M First Gen TPA Reroll: $3M* For the First Gen Reroll, only members who have never had a VHL player before are eligible, and only while still on their Rookie Level Contract. Any member/player that does not meet these requirements must purchase the regular TPA Reroll. Since the fighters are based on a percentage of TPE, they remain the best purchases for higher earners, but these prices are adjusted so that the cost per TPE is about the same as a depreciation fighter for those in the mid-to-low-earning category. An added bonus is that first-gens just buying whatever in the player store at the start of their career won't negatively impact their finances as much. The position swap kinda is a little too high (IMO), but this is an awesome chan that makes things more affordable, useful and efficient for members. Teams should need to work with the players at the positions they have rather than just getting their guys to swap to whatever makes the most sense for the team because it’s so painfully cheap. A position switch should be a major decision and not one that can happen often.
