Like others said, if this is about Hextall, then yes it's a sad time for the legion right now. I've only had this season with him in net, but he's awesome.

Let's be honest. Everyone except Peace. I have banned him from attempting humor in the LR.

I refuse to prank my teammates, as it can create an atmosphere of negativity and anger. That's not what the Social Club is all about.

5. Who is the easiest target to prank? 

 

From my observations, probably myself. 

6. On a scale of one to 'hold me tightly'... how was your valentines day?

Nope, unfortunately. I maintain an interest in the final result of course, but it's too painful to watch.

It's an interesting concept, but I'm only checking the Legion's results. I guess it's something for those not participating in playoffs.

I'm not the greatest at replying to these kinds of questions. Unless we trade the pick or something, 5?

4. What are some of your favorite offseason activities? 

 

Drowning my sorrows in alcohol, watching TV and deciding who will be my mortal enemy for next season.

I actually looked at the conference finals game seven, which was the first playoff game I have viewed. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Well I wasn't looking forward to it for sure, and now that it has happened it was even worse going from a possible third to now sixth. Yikes!

3. Where do you predict Toronto will draft? 

 

I predict the next time Toronto drafts in the first round will be the S79 OR S80 first round. So I predict we will see Toronto pick in the Fourth Round in the S77 Entry draft. 

4. What are some of your favorite offseason activities? 

 

Getting some me time in with the family.

I am gonna go with Warsaw. With Lamb up front and Krishna in net, I like their chances.

Sadly, yes more or less. At least for our part it did. Didn't see Los Angeles moving up to the 1 spot, but oh well.

My performance was average and definitely could have been better. Nice to see Welch step up and have a big tourney though!

I'll be honest, I have had a hard time staying engaged with VHL the last few weeks. I think most of it is because I am back to working full time and my free time has gone down significantly. But no need for alarm

5. Another food question... pasta or pizza? 
As an obese man, I love both of these things. But at the end of the day I gotta go with pizza.  In fact I just ordered one, poggers.

 

6. What kind of pasta/pizza... and what do you add to them?

I normally and a pepperoni and extra cheese kinda guy. But variations are good. I like meat lovers, and although I hate mushrooms, a deluxe is also good. If you put pineapple on your pizza you are a degenerate fuck and probably should just off yourself.  As for pasta.. spaghetti with meat sauce is good. Chicken carbonara is good, lasagna  is good. I like pesto alfredo too. Pasta is pretty dope.

I think Chicago takes the prize over the Predators. Too much class where it matters.

Yeah, pretty much. By actually trying to do well, unlike some other teams, we cemented our spot in the upcoming draft.

I checked the results after each sim but to be completely honest, I didn't really check the individual player stats.

4. It's been a long off season for us... how have you kept yourself engaged in the sim league? 

 

It's been a struggle for me since the regular season ended and we were relegated to bystanders. I've been trying to stay interested, with varying degrees of success.

Pizza usually. Just quicker and easier to be honest.

It varies but I like chicken, bacon and four cheese. I'm sure it's low calories......

Yes, we have the 6th pick, so I am intrigued to see who we are going to take. Hopefully we can add a good piece to the team.

2. What do you think about the management and leadership movement on the sim lately? (GMs retiring/leaving, Beaviss' resignation, etc)
It's been a crazy couple of weeks in VHL. Certainly there has been alot of turnover, it kind of seems like a changing of the guard type of thing. The new GMs that have been promoted are certainly good choices and I am happy for them.

3. Are you participating in the World Cup? 
Yes I am on Western Europe, led by the one and only Jiggs. We have quite the team, I am excited to see how we do.

4. What is your favorite thing about the off season? 
When it's over and we start playing games again. I hate the offseason, it makes people complacent and sometimes it drags on too long. 

5. What are you expecting from Toronto in S77? 
I think it's pretty simple.Playoffs. We have a great squad in place and I think we are ready to make the leap to be a postseason team.

6. What are your individual aspirations for S77? 

I'd like to finish the season with 60 points and be a + player in plus/minus.

1. not too much besides Torontos 6th overall pick. I think that's going to be a huge pick.

2. I think it's cool to see so many new GMs stepping up, like how @Spartanis moving on to moscow.

3. I'm not entirely sure, I would like to but I don't see myself being chosen.

4. This is my second ever offseason with the team, but I feel like the locker room banter is nice to read.

5. I expect us to shock the hockey world, I mean we're getting some pretty decent players next season.

Yes I hope to watch. I know it's Friday and I have a VHL alumni supposed to be at my place, so who knows if we will get around to actually taking it in. Hoping for exciting results at number six.

It is interesting. Gives new blood in the room, not that it was necessarily needed, but who knows what will come of it

Yes I am U.S.A baby! We didn't start so hot, but its all about that finish.

Nothing, its boring as all fuck

5. What are you expecting from Toronto in S77?

 

Playoffs, number one. If we don't make the playoffs with our current roster in the North American Conference, then I would say its a bad year. After that anything can happen in the playoffs.  

6. What are your individual aspirations for S77? 

 

I want to be a top five player in my position and a top three player on the Legion. I am one of the higher TPE players and its time to put up in year four.

I had some personal close attention to the draft as I was Malmo's AGM for less than a week which meant I did a lot of first-hand scouting before I headed off to the Yukon Rush. There's a lot of sleeper picks in this draft, specifically in the mid to late second round that I'll be interested to see where they land

Quite insane to see such a shift in the VHL landscape, specifically with Beaviss going on hiatus as honestly everytime I looked in VHL #general he was there so his impact leaving will be felt. I'm glad to see some first-gens getting the opportunity for GM spots but it is a bit shocking to see some people I'd say really deserve a GM shot that have been here for awhile not getting the nod.

3. Are you participating in the World Cup? 
Yup! Well, in a certain way. Although my player isn't good enough as of yet, I got hired as Team World's AGM under dlamb and helped discuss creating the roster. Although we had a pretty good team, we ultimately didn't get past the quarter-finals

4. What is your favorite thing about the off season? 
The off-season is quite rough tbh, it really feels like an irl off-season with everyone kind of taking a break of sorts but now with the draft upon us the locker-room is piping back up again which is great! The only favourite thing I have is prepping for the draft as I got to do a lot of pre-draft scouting for the first time and I enjoyed that a lot.

5. What are you expecting from Toronto in S77? 
I'm expecting us to be a LOT more competitive with our defensive core coming back insanely stronger. Like we talked about in the locker-room, anything less than the playoffs is a disappointment.

6. What are your individual aspirations for S77? 

I want to really show off my offensive capabilities. I'm maxed out on defense now and I have my scoring pretty much set for the time being until I upgrade my puck handling and skating some more, so I think I have my player build closer to the range I want it to be in so I'm hoping for a really good sophomore campaign of 50+ points and a lot better +/-

Nothing you can personally do lol. But I think our LR has collectively been great lately, there's always good dialogue happening, so that's a plus.

2. I'm running out of questions for the off season, so I'm going to start asking random ones... what is your favorite game genre? 
 

I grew up being a big RPG guy. And I obviously love my sports games...it's almost time for MLB The Show to come out so I am pumped about that.  I am not a huge shooter guy anymore, I am dogshit at them so I avoid them lol. The past 10 years or so  I've gotten really into to basebuilding/world building games like Civilization or Stellaris. And Ive started playing alot of trashy mobile gacha games too sadly lmao.

3. What about your favorite music genre? 
 

Simply put, rock. Classic rock, hard rock, alternative, metal... it's all good. I also like alot of non-current rap. Stuff rom the 90s to the late 2000s. Not that mumble rap shit they make now though.  Even pop is okay, I just don't like country music. 

4. What about movies? 
 

I think I've kinda turned more towards watching TV series over movies because I love the long, slow-burning plots and character development. But that being said, I like a good variety of movies.  Fiction, docs, crime,  space themed stuff. lots 

5. Favorite snack to munch on while watching a movie/playing a game?

 

Chips are solid. Jalapeno Cheddar Doritos are my go-to

 

6. Do you crank your music loud, or do you listen to it at a reasonable volume?

 

 Well typically I would listen to my music loud, but I've lived in an apartment for about 6 years now, so I've learned to keep it to a reasonable level to respect the people in my building.

It's not your responsibility to stave off our boredom induced riots. It will be over soon and the Legion can be unleashed.

I don't get much time to game these days, but for a while I was into RPG's and most of the EA Sports catalog. 

3. What about your favorite music genre? 

 

Himalayan Hip-hop and Eastern Lithuanian Chanting are my current go to styles. Waiting for the next hardcore spoken word Vanilla Ice covers to drop.

4. What about movies? 

 

I actually don't have a favorite genre as far as movies. There's very little lately that I'd even want to see to be honest.

5. Favorite snack to munch on while watching a movie/playing a game?

 

Anything from my favorite Wuhan wet market.

 

6. Do you crank your music loud, or do you listen to it at a reasonable volume?

 

It depends on who's around, or if I have the chance to turn it up. I'm actually quite considerate of others.
