I'm back! (and realized I forgot to post in the away thread and just told staff instead: reason below the "read more)
When I got to Europe, I got so lucky for so many reasons. The most important was that my assigned-by-the-company roommate turned out to become the absolute best friend I've ever had. He moved out and got on a plane to South Africa today, and I needed to be very present this last week. December has been a roller coaster of emotion to say the least.
Life moves fast, and if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it. Appreciate the good things you have now, because they won't always be there.

After many, many, many real life years, you can finally see my name on the forums in dark mode. No more pinch zooming in to see which commissioner is tagged, or guessing based on the length of the name. It’s truly a historic day in this great forum league of ours.

@a_Ferkthe race organizers thought there are better races too, they only gave trophies to the people who did the half-marathon. I’m so jealous, my buddy came second in his category for the half too and got a big ass rock stuck to a square plaque. I wanted that rock so badly. Next time.
