Hey VHL and welcome back to another look at the best shootouts of the regular season, this time around I didn't know if I was even going to do it but I need a media spot and third times the charm right? To start things off let's take a look at the best goaltending gladiators who didn't hesitate and won the extra point for their team..

 Best Goaltenders:vhllogo:

🥉 Andrew Bowman recovers after giving up the first shot and outsmarts the opposition by reading the next three in a battle with D.C. :mos:

Doug Dimmadome tracks the puck on all three shots with his chest and leaves no room for error, giving his team the chance to score in a comeback victory against Prague :la:

Zamboni Driver stays tuned in after a great display from both netminders during the game but uses his momentum to motivate himself, stopping three straight shots versus the Phantoms with the glove and blocker :rig:

Kevin Malone has a remarkable showing as he sprawls out to make a couple of shots and finishes the shootout in Vancouver with a huge blocker punch to keep the puck away from the goal line :dcd:

Artem Tretiak leaves the crease and challenges all three shots from the Wranglers, using his blocker and toe to win it for his team on the last move :mal:

🥈 Jacob Carson replaces the starter and finds himself in a duel against D.C. but doesn't let the pressure get to him, using his hands and pads to seal the deal with a trickling five hole save :mal:

Kunibuni UnGuri flashes the leather and stops three straight shots in the crease, keeping his team in it and helping defeat some of the Stars elite shooters :hcd:

Kunibuni UnGuri reevaluates after making a few close stops and like a sniper he stays focused, swinging his arm in the air and catching the shot to win it for his team again against some tough shooters in Los Angeles :hcd:

ClapbombsRUs grabs and holds the puck on a couple of dangle attempts and stops another with his leg to keep his team in it and eventually get the win versus a frustrated Helsinki squad :cal:

Sirkants Klamasteris comes out on top with three saves and a wild display of acrobatic skill, defeating a New York team who had just as much blood and seat put into the game :cal:

🥇 Sirkants Klamasteris flips the switch and goes beast mode turning aside four different types of shots after giving up the first goal, motivating his teammate on the next shot and merging their efforts for the shootout victory against the Dragons :tor:

Next up is the best goal scorers that took it to the next level..

🥉 Sven Reikkinen shows off his creative maneuvers and intensity in a nail biting finish as he takes the rubber straight toward the crease, using a well timed snap shot under the glove it was the Wolves goalie who would end the night embarrassed and confused :ldn:

Lee Xin and Julian Nousiainen give their best efforts and score a pair of hard slappers but it was Dan Dan, Nathan Perry and B-CGY LW2 who would strike harder, sealing the deal with long pinpoint snap shots through a juggling and fumbling Chicago goaltender :cal:

Nathan Perry brings the crowd to their feet after signaling them to get hype, he slowly dances the puck into the Legion zone and slides the puck through a backed up netminder for a hardworking but electric crowd pleaser :cal:

Kristof Welch skates in on the left side and fakes a slapshot short side, after that it's history as the puck slowly slides into the right side of the net with smooth and fast deke move before the goaltender could recover :dcd:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-282.html

🥈 Justin Lose and Cabe McJake shock the crowd with well prepared hard wristers as they utilize the strong side of the ice and launch their pucks through an unready goaltender :rig:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-35.html

Aloe Dear and Victor Grachev duel it out against MuffBeav, Taylor Mourning and Arthur Dayne in one of the best highlight reel producing shootouts but it was the Predators who didn't have enough energy left and ended up giving the other team the dub :mal:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-226.html

🥇 Jeffrey Pines must have worked on his dangles during the off-season because he completely robbed the HC Davos crease guard using a combination of fake shots, change of speed and a wicked backhand shot that would ring off the top post into an empty net :la:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-406.html

And lastly here's a list of the quickest and longest shootouts of the regular season..

Best Quickest/Longest:vhllogo:

🥉 Magnus Verlander and Gary Rush do the netminder dirty and speed dangle it into the net so fast we needed a slow motion repay to watch their moves :hel:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-521.html

Magnus Verlander and Gary Rush find a way to end things early and collect the extra point versus a tired Legion using smart shots that went under the elbow and through the armpit :hel:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-199.html

Taro Tsujimoto and Addison McLaren quickly end the shootout with a couple of close calls against an all-star goaltender who fumbled them but ended up hitting the rubber into net :hcd:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-239.html

Robert Bouchard and Riley Knight Gee destroy any chances of a comeback using a fancy deke move on the first shot and on the second shot we see the defenseman launching a direct slapshot right into a stretched glove but it trickles out and over the line :prg:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-453.html

Justin Lose and Cabe McJake don't play around and use their skating to get the netminder out of position for some easy goals :rig:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-59.html

London United and HC Davos Dynamo battle it out in an 8 round shootout using the whole roster and a few appearances from the post, in the end it was the blue and red that would find success after That Dude and Alec Volchenkov snap crazy bullets into the center of the net on opposite sides :ldn:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-63.html

🥈 Moscow Menace and Seattle Bears extend the shootout to 8 rounds and show off the skills of their shooters, Valterri Vaakanainen, B-Seattle C2 and Dolant Fertitta, Duncan Idaho, Kyle Glass, they all brought their A game but it was a Moscow dub in the end because of their excellent patience and more prepared bench:mos:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-219.html

🥇 Riga Reign and Moscow Menace have a goaltending epidemic with 10 huge saves from Papa Emeritus and Matthew A Sovick Jr. who kept their teams in it for 7 rounds, the Menace come out on top though after their goaltender shutouts the competition with an insane out of position glove hand grab right on the line:mos:

https://vhlportal.com/vhl/79/VHL79-404.html

Thanks for tuning in again for my third addition of the BSOTRS, see you next time :)

Review: Very cool Media that required a lot of digging! I liked the added color coding of names for the teams and the blast from the past that a lot of the really old story lines. Need more Beaviss content to get the 10/10 though so you get an 8/10
