For altercations made here (originally in the Helsinki GM application) @BladeMaiden has been suspended from the forum and discord for 2 days under the CoC, specifically this section of it for making unprovoked targeted attacks against another member.

After reviewing the events of last night in the league discord, the following punishments are being levied:

 

1. For violating the Code of Conduct, specifically re: Personal attacks and Sexist comments, @gorlab is receiving a 2-week TPE ban, from May 24 - June 6th, as well as a discord mute effective immediately through the 6th.
2. @Ricer13 is receiving a 48-hour mute for his part to play in the events
3. @TXC received a temporary ban from the discord, as well as a forum mute for posting out of context screen shots whose content today violates the Code of Conduct. Both are now removed as time served.

User @MattyIce has been suspended from the league forums and discord until November 19, 2021. During this time he will be under a point task ban as well. This is a result of violation of Violation of personal conduct of a VHL GM, Violation of the VHL Code of Conduct and harassment/inappropriate behavior towards a community member.

User @Tate has been suspended from the league forums and discord until November 17, 2021. A TPE ban will be in effect until November 22. This is a result of Violation of the VHL Code of Conduct and harassment/inappropriate behavior towards a community member.

As a general rule, users should be aware that VHL related communication's channels including LRs, streams or any officially branded areas with VHL identifiers or if you identify yourself as a VHL member fall under the jurisdiction of our Code of Conduct.

User was found to have created and used multiple accounts/players. In addition to the TPE ban, both of the other accounts, @Turnip67 & @Russianmenice, have been permanently banned.

In particular:

• Section 1.2, user was found to have created and used multiple accounts/players ( @Horcrux & @Horvat98 ), who have also been banned.
• Section 1.5, user on various occasions made unprovoked antagonizing comments and generally caused unnecessary, drama-provoking, discussions.
• Section 1.4, user admitted to attempting to bait another user into violating the Code of Conduct.

User @ajwllmsn has received a 3-week TPE ban (December 27th-January 16th) and temporary suspension of his gm job in Las Vegas for violations of the code of conduct. (section 1.2) The official ruling of his Gm role will come from vhlm commissioners at a later date.

 

The user was found to be claiming TPE for the following accounts that are owned by other individuals. The accounts include:

These players will be given a 1-week TPE ban for allowing another player to update for them. (December 27th- January 2nd)

User has received warnings for behavior in the past but continues to exhibit intent to harm the community.

The user was found to have created multiple accounts. Users @Ekky,  @Gunnar,  @Wolfe and @Geeks have all been banned for being multis of the original account.

User @Hogan has received a one-week forum ban (Jan 28-Feb 4), one-week TPE ban (Jan 31-Feb 6), and removal of discord privileges indefinitely.  These punishments are effective immediately.  The punishments are based on repeated efforts to break the following rules and code of conduct items:

VHL Discord Rules

-          1) Being respectful of all members

-          3) Posts crossing the ‘Safe for Work’ line in channels other than the thunderdome

-          4) Unnecessary mentions at other members (and deleting them afterwards)

-          6) Shit talking, spam and memes in channels other than the thunderdome

-          7) Not adhering to moderator requests to discontinue actions that go against rules 1-12

-          9) Specifically using accented or italicized letters to bypass the MEE6 bot in order to send messages containing vulgar and/or derogatory terms and slurs

-          10) Self-promoting in channels without written approval from the moderation team

-          11) using bot commands in channels other than the thunderdome

 

VHL Code of Conduct (item # 15 in the VHL Rule Book)

-           

1.3 sexual content (see rule #1, 2, 6 in the VHL Discord rules)

1.4 harassment of at least 15 incidents in the last calendar year

1.5 trolling (see rule #1, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 in the VHL Discord rules)

1.4 Harassment

- Discrimination towards a member based on gender identity during a chat in discord and refused to acknowledge the seriousness of the offence

 

1.5 Drama, Fighting, and Trolling

- Personal attacks and trolling in DMs after being muted, including admittance to trolling and behaviour to a mod after the warning

 

The league has zero tolerance for transphobia whether the comments are intended to be a joke or not

User has been harassing and trolling members (1.4 and 1.5) of the site on the forums and in DMs despite requests from moderators to cease. User had forum posting privilege's suspended in order to answer inquiry from mod team however has chosen to ignore messages and not respond. This suspension will remain in effect barring a direct appeal to the head moderator.

 

Update: Jack Johnson will be suspended from posting in the forums until June 9 along with a TPE ban until June 13, 2022.

 

Update 2: due to circumvention of forum ban posting, Jack Johnson has been suspended from the site until June 24, 2022. The TPE ban is effective through June 26, ending June 27.

1.1 User has violated COC purpose of building an inclusive and welcoming community. Including admittance of baiting of arguments. 

 

1.5 User has incited and posted malicious/baiting comments with the intention to antagonize.

 

User has been restricted from posting on the forum and received a TPE ban until further notice.
