Quik 4,113 Posted May 19, 2021 Share Posted May 19, 2021 After reviewing the events of last night in the league discord, the following punishments are being levied: For violating the Code of Conduct, specifically re: Personal attacks and Sexist comments, @gorlab is receiving a 2-week TPE ban, from May 24 - June 6th, as well as a discord mute effective immediately through the 6th. @Ricer13 is receiving a 48-hour mute for his part to play in the events @TXC received a temporary ban from the discord, as well as a forum mute for posting out of context screen shots whose content today violates the Code of Conduct. During this time he will be under a point task ban as well. This is a result of violation of Violation of personal conduct of a VHL GM, Violation of the VHL Code of Conduct and harassment/inappropriate behavior towards a community member. This is a general reminder to everyone that the league takes harassment complaints incredibly seriously. Consent is incredibly important to us here to ensure that everyone feels safe and has fun. In particular: Section 1.2, user was found to have created and used multiple accounts/players ( @Horcrux & @Horvat98 ), who have also been banned. Section 1.5, user on various occasions made unprovoked antagonizing comments and generally caused unnecessary, drama-provoking, discussions. Section 1.4, user admitted to attempting to bait another user into violating the Code of Conduct. (section 1.2) The official ruling of his Gm role will come from vhlm commissioners at a later date. The user was found to be claiming TPE for the following accounts that are owned by other individuals. The accounts include: @PistolP @Xalen11 @DeeGoat @Vinnie These players will be given a 1-week TPE ban for allowing another player to update for them. User has received warnings for behavior in the past but continues to exhibit intent to harm the community. These punishments are effective immediately. User has been harassing and trolling members (1.4 and 1.5) of the site on the forums and in DMs despite requests from moderators to cease. User had forum posting privilege's suspended in order to answer inquiry from mod team however has chosen to ignore messages and not respond. This suspension will remain in effect barring a direct appeal to the head moderator. Update: Jack Johnson will be suspended from posting in the forums until June 9 along with a TPE ban until June 13, 2022. Update 2: due to circumvention of forum ban posting, Jack Johnson has been suspended from the site until June 24, 2022. The TPE ban is effective through June 26, ending June 27. Including admittance of baiting of arguments. 1.5 User has incited and posted malicious/baiting comments with the intention to antagonize. User has been restricted from posting on the forum and received a TPE ban until further notice.
