The whole thing with people complaining about other people getting offended about stuff has gone too far, across most of the internet. There are genuinely times where getting offended is the proper reaction. There are people who go out of their way to be offensive, just so they can point fingers at the people who get offended by it. People get offended about too much, but going to the opposite extreme and expecting no one to be offended about anything isn't the right balance either.

Still though, this is derailing the original point

You've been both ends. Your messages on facebook were actually what got me to come back. Plus you were the heir to my throne in Calgary. At your best, you're probably one of my top 5 members on the site. It's just... all the chat. It got repetitive and annoying pretty quick. Like I said though, don't take that as all of it, in other aspects you're seriously one of my favorites

No, but I saw that a few hours ago and it's what got me on the topic @Garsh - he's right. I've believed it for years, but never thought of some of the angles he took, and it brought the issue more to the forefront for me

I am all for the rebranding and stealing of the wing concept to call weird shaped nuggets boneless wings. Your not wrong with the arguments it's just, wings are messy and suck. You have to fight and work to get any scrap of quality meat no different than a rib. Society is stupid for liking these messy concepts. (And for eating at Carls Jr too, like what a slosh of mess their food looks like.) 

Stealing the boneless wing concept opens the door for all us regular folk who enjoy food that goes in our mouth, sauce that goes in our mouths, and meat that isn't half fucking bone grizzle and garbage. We want to enjoy the concept of a wing, without the hassle. A Chicken McNugget isn't the same thing as a boneless wing from a wing place in terms of preparation, taste, and quality of food. 

That said; I'll readily admit that I'm one of few who have this stance. People like their messy wings, their bibs to eat meat, their other associated gluttonous nonsense. You do you people, but I'll never stop calling them boneless wings.

That’s not true. Everyone was vibing Spencer Knight and Team USA a few hours before. I’d also like to think a large portion of the United States supports dunk’n donuts and Popeyes chicken. 

I think it's easy to overestimate just how many Americans (especially those from the Murica crowd) even knew the World Juniors were happening, let alone actually supporting Team USA. We're on a hockey site, the percentage of us here who would have watched it is not representative of most of the country. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have known about it had I not seen so many posts from VHL Canadians on discord about it, and that's from someone who actually follows hockey. Most of us don't.

Ugh hearing that makes me sad kinda.. I love hockey so much! Lol it’s crazy how massive soccer is basically in every corner of the world but hockey is so mostly popular in Canada.. I’d say USA, Sweden and Russia too but probably not comparable to Canada?

So the backup system that we use when the main system isn't working, was also not working. We were completely fucked for about 50 minutes. Two people had to be put in as randomly generated account numbers and won't be able to be merged with their real accounts until the morning. Fortunately now the backup system is up, although the main two systems aren't.

Most of the shit is done! First net still down but it's easy enough to get around that. Medipac is back and that's the important one

For everyone: no. For admins... kinda? I can see that the post is hot and if I click on it I can see the post but not the rest of the locker room activity. If I try to click on any other topics in there it doesn’t allow me. @hedgehog337 can confirm.

I looked into it. Basically commishes can see topics but not the forum itself (I guess so that we don't have like a million forums to scroll through) so if something gets pinned as hot or as new in the sidebar we can see it but we can't see the forum itself or any of the other posts it contains. It's a bit weird but it works.

Also, fun fact I discovered when looking into this. We can set custom error messages for when someone tries to access a forum they aren't allowed to access. So that's fun haha.

A little over a quarter - although that's where you start getting into how little is a little. I'm also a little over a quarter to Intranquilo, who was about 50 more than Brookside.

244 currently for Lawson. 422 for Hyvarinen, 908 for Brookside, 922 for Marcellin, 956 for Intranquilo. (Marcellin retired a year early, would have been the highest, but GMs do what we must). 244 x4 is 976, so I'm more than a quarter of any of the 900s, but 244 x3 is only 732, so definitely not a third yet.

I came into this expecting 700 or so for Lawson. I figured I'd be a Sandro. Yet I'm definitely less than a third into the career

Zapdos is my favorite of the birds, but the descriptions of the teams (linking team Mystic to intelligence, and I don't care as much about strength which is more Valor's thing) did it for me.
