Lennox Moher, one of the very few Aidan Shaw Trophy winners with a losing record, as he split his season between a rebuilding Davos and a young Quebec team before retiring. The distinction had to be made for post S20 as almost certainly some of the guys with the highest save percentages of all-time - Anton Nygard, Dominik Striker around S8, S9 - had losing records but we no longer have the information about those season. Moher takes the crown in the more modern era though.

Vasteras famously defeated Calgary 4 games to 2 in the finals, inflicting more losses on the Wranglers than they had faced in all of S1 to that point (following a 69-3 regular season and a first-round sweep over Seattle). Following Calgary's revenge in the S2 finals, Vasteras would only make the finals 4 more times in the next 55 seasons - once as Vasteras, once as Madrid, and twice as the Stockholm Vikings - before being contracted at the end of S57.
