Up to and including S69, the Helsinki Titans have lost the most finals having been on the losing side 10 times. However, they can take solace from the fact they've also won the most championships with 11. Riga and NY are joint 2nd with 9 losses each, while Cologne had the worst finals win % of any franchise (excluding Malmo who lost their only one to date).

Yes, this meant team performance, and yes that's correct. The S1 Calgary Wranglers featuring future league legends Scott Boulet, Brett Slobodzian, and Sterling Labatte went 69-3 in the regular season, a feat which got a bit of air time when Saskatoon nearly matched the run in the VHLM in S69, before losing 4 of 6 games against Scotty Campbell's Vasteras.
