Week 1 answers: 1. How many cities got VHL franchises since the end of Season 30? (1 uncapped TPE to @DoubleCarl for the inspiration for this one) I was tempted to put 'new' cities and make the correct answer 5 since Stockholm already had a VHL team before S30 once, but decided to be nice and the right answer is six. In S31, the VHL expanded into Quebec and Cologne, then Vasteras moved to Stockholm in S41. None of those teams exist now..... But we did get Quebec moving to Vancouver, while expanding into Malmo and Moscow. Let's see how long we last in these 3 cities. 2. Which country has won the most Continental Cups? (1 uncapped TPE to @xDParK for the inspiration for this one) It's closer than you might think, but Canada does lead the way with Toronto and Calgary both on 9, while Quebec's 2 put the home of hockey at 20 championships. Seattle and New York provide the USA with 14, followed by Finland (Helsinki) on 10. Davos as a franchise also has 10 but 1 of those came while they were still in Russia, not Switzerland. Then it's Latvia on 8 with Riga, while poor Sweden has only mustered 2 Continental Cups across three franchises (OK, including Malmo is a bit unfair). I assumed the first question was only new cities, based on it saying "how many cities got teams" rather than how many teams moved cities. I just figured it would remove any city that already had had a team previously. I looked at it specifically as counting moves because Quebec moving to Vancouver did get Vancouver a team for example. It never specifically stated expansions, just cities.
