(Credit to @Enorama - 1 uncapped TPE) The now defunct Messier and then Grimm Jonsson Trophy lasted 57 seasons and was abolished as part of wide-ranging VHL changes (including contraction and the abolition of Project Player Two) after S57. Casey Jones, @der meister, was the last player to win it, and won it in both S56 and S57. Prior to that, Phil Hamilton won it a record 6 times, while Franchise Cornerstone and Zach Parechkin were also 2 of the later winners. 2. After the high-scoring S2, how many seasons passed before a rookie reached the 100-point mark again? Technically, no one was a rookie in S2 as all the good players had also played some VHL hockey in S1 but Christian Stolzschweiger claimed rookie status and the rest is history. Naturally, his act was hard to follow for real rookies afterwards and it was until S17, a 14-season gap later, that a rookie (Matthew Gunnarsson) got to the century mark again with 101 points. Geoff Gartner got as far as 99 in S12.
